Ok, another trade down as we get 2 more picks. So this is going against what Stephen said last night. That you get your value with higher rounds, then with late rounds and getting just a lot of picks.

so now trade down and get guys that most likely will be PS guys?

I mean, I like the extra picks, as you may hit on a few, but then again you may not. I guess it is better to pick a guy than sign them as an UDFA.

I’ve come to the conclusion Stephen is really not much different than his dad.

As I said, this draft is run like they think they had a near perfect roster and just need depth and practice squad bodies.

Such a disappointment.

At this point, I don't mind trading and stockpiling picks. The likelihood isn't high that you're going to get a stud, so might as well take several shots at it.
The chances of hitting on sixth and seventh rounders are extremely low.

But hey, get more of 'em, may get luckier?

Stockpiling 6th & 7th Round picks instead of taking BPA.

Yep 2009 all over again. After trading out of the 2nd we had a dozen picks from round 3-7 and ended up with nothing. These guys can barely draft in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Stockpiling 5th-7th rounders is doing nothing for us.

This is a worthless draft...I'm most excited about McGovern and he may never even see the field

Wait until Frederick can’t return and the inevitable Tyron back flare up. He’ll play this year. Lol.

Trade out again. We had two 4th rounders and walked away with a running back to show for them. To me that other 4th rounder was just throw in the trash. Why.

I don’t really understand the reasoning behind accumulating late round picks. If they wanted to trade out they should have looked for a partner willing to give up 2020 picks. Late 6th and 7th round picks have such low odds of doing anything, stockpiling them usually just means they end up cut at the end of training camp.

Colts had a need at S.

Took two.

We had a need at S, took a third down back and a backup OG.

I wouldn't even call Pollard a backup RB....Would you really trust Pollard w/ 20 carries? I wouldn't...I still think it's a need.

We still have needs @....

LB...Need to replace Damien Wilson
RB-
dime safety
TE
DT
CB

I would understand multiple trade downs to collect more picks if you had a roster shortage, i.e. not a lot of guys under contract.

But we don't.

This is embarrassing.

It’s as I said.

They think they have a near flawless roster and what they needed out of this draft was largely depth, practice squad and camp bodies.

If anything, this was the draft you do something bold and move up to get that one key piece. We did the opposite.

What on earth is going on?

This looks completely idiotic.

Draft pool is getting thinner and we keep trading down.
Ever since they took Pollard instead of Johnson its shown their inability when it comes to reading the draft..

Well, I hate to break it to you but Pollard is not a real RB.

We’re complaining about trading down in the 5th round lol

Man we’re really missing out on all pros here!!!!

Believe it or not, some teams find solid starters and even pro bowlers on day 3 of the draft. Of course, if you only watch the Cowboys drafts then it's no wonder we think these picks are useless and don't matter.

We had two fourth rounders and all we have to show for it is a RB who is probably really a WR, and a bunch of dart throwing late round picks.

I hope the next six picks clean out the Official 30 list and leave them really losing their minds.
