Fox has never gotten the mileage out of the X-Men movie franchise. The films that did succeed did so DESPITE FOX, not BECAUSE of them. They barely scratched the surface of what they had, and screwed up stories and timelines so badly that halfway through they had to hit the reset button and retcon their own screwups.

I can't wait to see what Marvel might due with the property, I just fear things will go back to the days where everything had that X on it.

Now I am holding my breath waiting to see what FOX did with Dark Phoenix, one of the most notable storylines in both comics history and publishing companies. Knowing FOX, I will asphyxiate myself waiting on them to do the story TRUE justice.

When it comes to the mutant characters (and others recently acquired), I am a lot like Princess Leia. "Help us Marvel/Disney. You're our only hope."

That's my favorite kinda B movie, low budget but doing the best they can with what they got. Irritates me when you try to watch one where it comes across as a half *** production.

I agree with the one guy that they should release the movie officially, one as the original and spend some money to redo the cgi. I would buy it.

Rogue has been a FOX property until recently. Disney and Marvel introduced Captain Marvel recently. Both *should* share the same Earth-616 universe at some point in the future.

The stage is set for Rogue to become the character that made her famous among comic book readers. The only questions are:

Will Disney/Marvel plan for the characters to meet down the road?

When could that meeting actually happen?

Will they go a different route with Rogue's character?

Or will we be forever stuck with a weak Anna Paquin type imitation?

So... at the end of endgame he goes back to THAT 1970 timeline. Because when he went in 1970 he was already existing there (from 1945-ish)

This theory is possible because the Russo brothers already said his endgame ending was an alternate timeline.

Let's assume he was 18 when he entered the super soldier program. He becomes Captain America and operates for a year or so before getting frozen at age 19. He gets thawed out in 2011. In 2023, he is the equivalent of 31(not counting the frozen years) when he decides to go back to 1970. Then he ages another 53 years to the scene when he is an old man in 2023. That would make him 84 or at least in that age range.

I agree that because of the super soldier serum he wouldn't/shouldn't age as a normal human.

The scene where he is dancing with Peggy looks like it was from the late 40s or 50s, so add in another 20+ years and he would be over 100.

nah. I got away from Supergirl. It quickly became to campy for my tastes. Plus, I did not appreciated Warner Bros/The CW separating certain characters and the shows they are based in on different Earths. And do not get me started on my opinion of Kara's cousin Kal-El usage on her show.

I wonder if there are many coincidences between comic book publishers. The DC Supergirl character was adopted by a couple named Danvers.

That is how Linda, her first name, and her last name for her Earth identity comes from. She was given the name in the early 60's. Ms. Marvel was created after Supergirl by Marvel in the late 60's. The latter character was 'birthed' Carol Danvers, whose superhero character evolved in time into Captain Marvel.

Yep. 'Kara' was one of the little changes made in this show, essentially combining her Kryptonian name and her adoptive parents (played by Dean Cain and Helen Slater) last name.

Not sure why the show's creators did not use the same naming philosophy with her cousin. Superman's alter ego should have been Kal-El Kent or Kal Kent for short.
