I don’t care about leadership. We’ve had leadership for 20 years and it’s gotten nowhere. Give me heart.

By your same standard, Dez's heart also has gotten the team nowhere. It isn't as if he is someone who has never been a Cowboy. He had his time in Dallas. What makes him coming back different than the time he was here before? Same heart, but less body. He is now 30, coming off a major injury and over the past 4 years has dealt with several nagging leg injuries. I think he is a very hard worker with great heart, but unfortunately he never improved those little nuances of the wide receiver position that truly elevate a player. He worked very hard on the physicality of the position, but somehow his technique didn't improve. I think he worked on improving technique. It just didn't take. Technique is quite important especially when the body starts to age and wear down. It is best for both Dez and Dallas to move forward without each other.

If he understood his role and can still play then go for it. Cooper and Gallup are the guys. Dez would be a addition that would at least make opposing defenses keep a eye on him. Won’t really require a double team but if you can get the ball to him he is still a beast to take down.

so, is it a good thing that I don't have IG to see this?

actually, I have always loved Dez, but they were correct to move on from him; I was hoping he would find a landing spot (pre-injury of course) and I was very happy for him; but, not sure where Dez would fit in with the youngest team in the league...we already brought methuselah back at TE and signed Cobb, so that already probably bumped us off of the top of the "youngest" list....good luck to you Dez, I just can't imagine it will be in Dallas as a football player
You ain't missing much , it's just a picture of his mug in Dallas battle gear,,, it sez' like 3 words that were of such profound ,,,er,,,of profoundness, that I can't recall what they were,,,ya, they were on that level of memory worthy retentiono_O

Witten definitely raises the average age.

Incoming Randall Cobb is 28 and outgoing Cole Beasley is 30.

Dez wasn’t the reason this team didn’t have success. Don’t let them fool you.

There is no circumstance I would ever want to see Bryant in a Cowboys uniform again. He got released last spring and SAT until WEEK 13 and then torn Achilles tendon in his 1st practice. Not to forget that in 2017 he lead the ENTIRE league in drops. NO THANKS.

at least being a Cowboy MATTERED to him.
bring him back...what the hell do we have to lose...COOOOOOOP is firmly established as the no.1.....Gallup as the no.2.
Id rather have 88 than Lance Lenoir personally.

Who is them? I never said he was the reason the team didn't have success. He was a member of the team at that time and they didn't have success. They all have a level of culpability. Even Dez.

give old Dez a second chance. People make mistakes and live and grow from them. It is called life. Give him a chance to earn a roster position.
