Today is the day that no comp picks will be passed if signing any remaining FA.
That really does not affect the Cowboys as there are no comp picks to protect.

Any delay in looking at available free agents is not just playing a game with that process.

They honestly feel very comfortable with the state of the roster.

this poor writer,he has no idea what the cowboys will do .He could have asked any cowboy fan and he wouldnt have made that prediction.

Any Cowboy fan that is four beers into their evening, yes. "Dallas rumored to sign big money FA ___________" is guaranteed clickbait, which is what most of these websites are now.

I'd do a jig if we signed both those guys.

But we won't. Boston is a non-starter with this organization no matter how well he'd fit in our scheme. And I think history has shown us this team simply doesn't put a lot of financial resources in the DT position. Suh, even on a one year deal, would still command a pretty large one year pay day.

But if you brought those two in:

DE - Lawrence, Charlton
3T - Hill, Collins
1T - Suh, Woods
DE - Quinn, Armstrong
WLB - LVE
MLB - Smith
SAM - Lee
CB - Jones, Lewis
CB - Awuzie, Brown
FS - Woods, Heath
SS - Boston, Iloka

That's a potentially dominant lineup.

That would be hella nice! Collins starts over Hill until mid season though.

Tank Lawrence did say he wanted Suh last season. Give Suh Crawfords money on a 1-2 year deal.

Boston I wanted last season as many others and he's 6'1", 205 lbs. He's a FS though so I don't think it happens since we have Woods there.

Not gonna happen. Neither will. Cowboys about to pay Dak 30, Zeke more than Gurley, and Coop wants a big piece.

Word is there is interest in SuH and Maybe Boston among Others.

JERRY and Stephen have both daid they arent done trying to make this team better.

I would not be against the signing of anyone aslong as they help us win.
Camp battles are the best battles

Does anyone really see us signing those guys until we have the extensions for Dak and Cooper (and probably Zeke and Jones) worked out. Boston wants (rumor wise)$2 million a year and Suh wants $10 million. Just do not see either happening and forget McCoy if Tampa releases him because he will be in the same range as Suh. Just not going to happen.

Boston and Suh are probably starting at one year deals again, so absolutely, we could sign them and still deal with Dak and Cooper and have no issues cap wise in the future.

What's funny is that last year, when we were searching for S help, Stephen Jones made a comment that was interpreted as suggesting the Cowboys view Boston as a strong safety and now what they wanted.

I wouldn’t sign Suh myself
We have a Dline of over achievers who may not be the top talent, but play with great effort
Suh is 100% the opposite

Marinelli would get in a fist fight with Suh and then he’d probably die...

That's good to know. Obviously that means there's a better chance then.

He maybe wasn't worth his check during the regular season, but he showed up for the playoffs.
