It is. Folks not wanting athletes from certain backgrounds to get big deals make it that way.

Look around. Do you see other QBs insulted with incentives? You don't but somehow, y'all gonna suggest that for Dak
:lmao:
Come on Abe.

Did you really need to go there?

Those that don't want to pay Dak (I'm not in that camp) have that opinion based on his play on the field. T
hey think he is an average NFL starter because that is where is generally ranked--right in the middle.
What some don't get is that going rate for a young starting NFL QB is very high, even if he is maybe 14th best at his postion.

Dropping the race card into the conversation is just shameful and lazy.

I’m saying in general. Down the line even if we had the top pick people would said it would be a mistake whomever the qb was.

People here were mad we didn't get Wentz and settled for Dak. Then Dak unsets Romo. They'll be cheering for White to start over Dak in preseason.

not so sure. I think we will sign Coop before Zeke. Zeke will be playing on his 5th year option this year. Cooper will get a deal sooner.

I also think the franchise tag on Zeke will be less than Cooper, so we have that going for us in negotiations with Zeke.

not close to a deal, but they're offering close to $30, so probably $28-$29 a year...tap the breaks
If he does not take that deal then he is really stupid. They should play hardball because he does not have to have a new deal this year.

See if he is ready to play for 2 million this year!

Just because a team was dumb enough to do that...doesn't mean we should be just as dumb....and so the same thing.

That's not being dumb. That's what it takes win in this league. You have to take chances. You can't be scary. Taking a chance on Cousins wasn't dumb it was risky. Had it paid off they would've been geniuses. But Dak ain't Cousins. Dak actually shows up in primetime games and in clutch moments.

Big Facts. How ppl can't see Dak is very good is beyond me. And not even worth replying to them at this point. He aint quincy carter and he helps the team by not being a gunslinger like romo turning the ball over. Dude is a straight up gamer. In all of our playoff games he has not been the weak link.

Yeah not at all. They gave him NOTHING in the Rams game and in the Packer game.....I thought he outplayed Rodgers or played as good as he did anyway.

What was it that Shannon Sharpe said once on undisputed? It's cool when you're making a little money and people don't expect much from you. It's totally different when you're the highest paid guy in the locker room and now you're expected to actually lead the team and put them on your back.
Dak is already the leader of this team in case you hadn't noticed.
