No one is trading for for Taco. If our DE’s stay healthy during preseason, soft Taco gets cut.

Wow, poor JPP.

You would think, given his performance to this point, Taco's value would be pretty low right now. Why not hang on to the guy and see if he can turn it on. It would be epic if they held on to Taco and he actually flashed that first round potential this year.

It's crazy how many posters don't understand that Taco has trade value.

"No one is trading for Taco" lol okay, show your hand a little more please.

Soloman Thomas has done much less than Taco, and despite a larger contract has a significant trade market.

How is that provable? He's still in San Francisco isn't he?

So players that havent been traded across the league don't have trade value?

That's essentially what you're saying.

I'm challenging you to prove your claim.

You seem to want the freedom to claim that Taco Charlton and now Soloman Thomas have trade value, with no basis or support for it. No bueno.

And I'm challenging you to prove what I said was wrong.
Do players that havent been traded across the league not have trade value, since they havent been traded?

No bueno.

Yeah, there's no "trade value" until someone trades for them. Until such time, Taco Charlton is nothing more than this team's current 1st round bust.

Again, you want people to accept your fan speculation as something valid. It isn't, we don't.

Thomas has significantly more tackles and the exact same number of sacks. Yep, "much less".

And a "significant trade market", despite the fact that nobody traded a thing for him.

Some people mistake their wants and hopes for facts.

Despite the reported interest by many insiders.
Hey, at least Thomas had "reported interest by insiders". All we have on Charlton was Fisher saying "multiple teams to reportedly call".

Taco now has two years under his belt, he got to watch dlaw and be coached by a top tier dline coach for 2 years, and has had two years of strength and body training as he is still growing.

I am going to bet on taco. He is only on year 3 of a possible 5 year rookie deal.

Quit trying to trade away the depth. Dlaw was playing the end part of his rookie contract and playing for a contract, and he beat out taco. So Taco is a back up, and doesn't have stats.
