Dak's my QB!

Sadly...I wish I could agree...but after 3 years of breaking down his tape...I haven't seen any progress or improvement.

But here we are...gonna give him a contract extention...not that he's earned it...but because we hope he's worth it.

Who in their right mind...can honestly say this is the way to run a franchise?

Well, we have to face them twice a year.
I agree! What bothers me the most about this match up is when the Cowboys were a little banged up in 2017 the Eagles completely monkey stomped them but when the tables were turned in 2018 the Cowboys needed over time to beat them and Wentz was playing with a broken back. Plus Dak has the best RB in the game helping him vs Wentz has a bunch of back ups helping him. But now the Eagles have Jordan Howard who is no where near as good as Zeke but he is a starter.
Basically if both teams are healthy I would say the Eagles because of Wentz have a better team.

I’m not making up anything. Dak outplayed Goff by a large margin: 83.6 QBR vs 56.5. Here is the box score in case you missed it.

Numbers look great! But they came in the opening drive and then the 2nd half. This just goes to show you how misleading stats are! Goff didnt have very good game but they were running so well he didnt have to have a good game. Dak went right down the field and scored a TD and that was it for the first half. The Rams were up 20-7. Yeah Dak made a valiant effort in the 2nd half but the damage was done.
Numbers dont always tell the true story. These numbers here make it look like Dak was fine and dandy and that it was just the defense and running game that was the problem.
Technically your right he did have better QBR but in reality he went cold when it most mattered. The defense was helping him out all year but when it came time for Dak to help the defense out by sustaining drives so they could catch their breath he just went cold as ice!

Tape? Do you have access to the film room too?

The idea that you "watched all this tape" and still came to the conclusion that you haven't seen any progress.

The ridiculous crap people post....

I would argue that playing well during the playoffs is an excellent measure of how good a QB is, since that is when pressure and competition is at its most intense. Obviously Rodgers and Wilson are great QBs since they have both won Super Bowls. That makes the fact that Dak outperformed them in the playoffs even more meaningful. We just need the rest of the team to play as well as Dak and we will be good.
BOOM! :hammer:

Wentz had a solid start before that leg injury, then hasn't been the same since. He is in a make or break year for him. The iggles will look incredibly foolish if Foles plays better in Jville. I took some flack on here from a couple iggle fans for saying this...but I think Foles should be an Eagle and Wentz traded. Foles proved he could lead men and rally the troops. The chemistry was great. Wentz may be more gifted physically, but between the ears its Foles all day.
that is what I think too, guess we will find out this season.

Nonsense.

Wilson won a Super Bowl because of the Legion of Boom. He didn’t carry the team, the best defense in the league did. And his interception at the goal line cost his team a win in Super Bowl 49.

Rodgers has had back to back losing seasons so he is hardly carrying his team.

Both are great players but let’s not get carried away. They need good teammates around them just like every QB in the league does, except Brady.
Brady has the best coach of all time.

In terms of QB play overall, I think Wentz has shown he has a higher ceiling as a passer. Dak's legs close the gap somewhat, but I don't expect Dak to be in the conversation for MVP much if at all. That doesn't mean he isn't a quality starter and leader though.

Plus Wentz can't make it through a season and play in the playoffs, so in terms of actual QB play Dak has that big advantage over him.
I think thats fair. Wentz is quite a talent but he cannot stay on the field. And going forward his ceiling is actually Nick Foles because if he doesnt at least match or best what he did, he will forever be seen as the worse choice. Dak does not really have that hinderance and just has to work on his game to improve and improve.
