If I remember right, he said:
  • Everything that Connor Williams was supposed to be at guard.
  • ****** nightmare for anyone who gets in front of him.
  • He not only stops his guy, he finishes him.
  • I do good, bad, ugly breakdowns. He only has good.
  • The one thing that remains constant - his guy is out of the play.
  • A third round grade on this guy? We got a steal.
  • Man among boys.
  • My favorite draft pick of the last 2 years. I like this guy coming in more than anybody.
  • His guys do not make plays, whoever he blocks.
  • I can't say enough positive things about him.
  • He's the guarantee that Connor Williams will no longer be a guard.
  • Day one starter.
He reminds me of the Frederick pick. Experience at G and C. Projected as a third rounder. Dinged on his lateral agility, quickness, and pass protection. But smart with power in the base and an NFL ready anchor.

That worked out pretty well for us last time. If everyone stays healthy, the run blocking should be incredible this year.

If Rudy gets cute at the goal line and isn't just running, he should be pantsed and stuffed in a locker.

Yep even though we are cap heavy on off-line like this pick.

I'm reluctant to state he's a day one starter, so we'll see.

Drafting them keeps the balance. Both Conner's are affordable and they will keep drafting these guys on the second day to keep that OL stocked.

The best improvement of the organization has been their attention to the foundation of a football team. That's the reason they've won the East two of the last three years and I think they'll go for that LT on day one of the draft by 2021, if not 2020.

I love the pick.

I can't see Connor Williams holding him off unless he gained some serious strength.

McGovern is just a natural guard and we stole him in the 3rd round. I don't understand how he fell to that round.

Joe Looney should get a shot too. It should be a true wide open competition at Left Guard.

I liked the drafting of C McG from day 1. I assume "Rudy" is S'moores

Exactly what I was thinking on drafting and getting LT replacement.

I believe this is a good pick, but in that video most of his blocks were him blocking someone who was already engaged with another lineman.

This should help us with that heavyness. Conner starts at LG next year and williams replaces Collins at RT. 10+ million saved if it works out.

Problem for Williams is that he should not have been a G. He is a talented guy and will be a quality T once these morons admit putting him at G was a mistake. They love to think they are smarter than everyone else in Dallas.

Good grief. I'm a Penn State fan, and most of us had questions about his readiness for the NFL. He was far from dominant. There were games where he'd get whipped and you were afraid that Trace McSorley would literally be killed. Did this armchair draft scout only watch the Iowa game from last year? Maybe put on some tape of the Michigan game. Or Ohio State. Or Michigan State. He gave up 3 sacks to Kentucky, and none were against Josh Allen (who had 3 of his own).

Let's put the anointing oil in secure storage. I hope he becomes the next Zack Martin, but there's a long way to go.
