QB Philip Nelson getting a tryout

I wish Phillip Nelson well and hope he somehow manages to become worthy of being a capable QB backup for Da Boys. It might take a better average completion percentage than the 59% average he had in college to achieve it, though. I'm expecting him him to serve as camp fodder 'til he manages to prove otherwise. May he find success in that goal, considering how much we might need it if Dak gets injured. He might well prove himself worthy of competition for Mike White, if nothing else.

Prolly. However, Kessler appears to be a capable backup. He'd be a huge upgrade over Rush. White is still a complete unknown.

Most likely we keep only 2 qb's. White needs to step up in camp. I'm rooting for him and want to see him out there with that arm and all that speed at wr/rb.

Never said Kessler wouldn’t get another shot. He’s the #3 guy there and that is fine.

Dallas seems to like Rush and White. If they aren’t capable of putting up the numbers Kessler did, they need cut immediately

We atleast gotta give Babyface Nelson a try. That way he sticks up the joint and robs the FO of all the bad playbooks ever associated with Garrett.

I'd feel a little more comfortable in Kellen Moores fresh start then.

great question. I think the FO stopped sending him a paycheck 6 months ago but he keeps showin up to work.
