Since the board seems to be converting into the Kellen Moore zone this week (not a complaint - can’t get enough of it, myself), if you want to really deep dive on our new offensive coordinator, this is must-see TV.

50-3 as a starter in college, and those three losses were all by 3 points or less, two on last minute missed field goals.

If you’re pressed for time, skip to 9:40 where he discusses how he uses unique offensive formations, motion, etc to get people open.

He also talks about the importance of communication with the receivers and o-line, and running the same plays in multiple ways to scheme people open.

This is all a great preview of what I think we can expect this season.

Thanks, this was fun to watch. I remember Amari Cooper and others talking about in-game route adjustments and other small wrinkles that can be implemented to throw the defense off.

I think Dak can handle a more complicated offense. It will be interesting to see how he takes our O-line schemes/philosophy and mixes that with more complicated sets/formations. If he can use Zeke and our running game to throw the defense off and create better routes and spacing... we could have something here.

Not sure what to think about Moore as an OC. I have nothing to base it on since it is his first time. As far as translating college ball smarts to the NFL, it's possible. Not many first year OC's are successful tho. I know one thing only, if things don't go well as far as red zone production, we'll hang him out to dry on the board.

I really don't take Gruden seriously. With the Raiders the first time he took the team to the AFC championship but lost both and he sucked at drafting. In Tampa he inherited a great team from Tony Dungy, who was a defensive master mind, and took them to a SB his first year then was a .500 coach for 6 years after that and again his drafts sucked. First year back with the Raiders, horrible results.

IMHO, John Gruden is way over hyped as a HC

He is overhyped but you can't take away the fact that he can build teams quickly if a team was bad. He has had two turnaround seasons out of nowhere. Problem is that once he builds them, the longevity of success isn't there and I believe it is because he relies too much on veterans.

I'm really excited to see this kind of offense and a dominant run game, like we had in 14 and 16 together. Could put a ton of pressure on opposing defenses.

Watch the Raiders try and hire KM away next year...as an assistant head coach/coordinator.

Honestly, if the Cowboys get to the NFC Championship Game, he’s going to be the hot prospect. The “in” thing is young, offensive minded coaches.

Boise State offense looked way more complicated than DAL under Linehan. I think Boise is coming to Dallas, and this offense is gonna be fun to watch.

Gruden will definitely be looking to poach Moore, but may settle for Richard. Everybody was talking about Lincoln Reily, but if Moore's offense averages over 27 per game... he's probably the guy.

His team has a dog that gets the tee every time they score and he doesn't know the dog's name? Don't know if I can trust someone like that.

We can only pray the players are disciplined enough not to commit too many errors and mistakes running a a more complex offense.

If the players are smart enough, I don't see why our weapons can't score a ton of points.

Yeah the team can string together false start penalties better than any offense in the league. Adding additional thinking could be problematic. This doesn't sound good for #82.
