That 2013 Romo game was the epitome of his whole career. Scintillating talent and playmaking ability that allowed him to keep up with the best of them. Unfortunately, a lack of a full roster and Romo’s risk taking mentality always resulted in him trying to do more than he had to, or being forced to try to depending on how you saw it.

If Romo doesn’t have the blocker pushed up against him on that last pass to Escobar, he likely avoids the pick and drives us down for the win.

Borderline top 5 QB who always had the habit of doing a little too much at the wrong time. Again, whether it’s his mentality or lack of a full roster it’s up to you how you see it.

Got called for a pushoff, then comes out and runs a deep in for 20.

Took over the game physically with three straight plays directed right at him.

This was grown man football.

I don't even think he was nearly as fast as he was supposed to be.

At least functionally fast.

He had no fluidity. That KR return for the TD was not exactly a display of athleticism and grace.

Left the Falcons just a couple of plays which they failed.

I also rewatched the game today and was also asking myself that same question. how much time was left and what down and distance was. I miss the old games because you had to pay attention when you were watching the games a little more.

I have to say, I appreciate the down and distance and score being shown now.

It might not be a big deal when you are watching it live, but after the fact, you need that.
