Can someone please explain what this nickname is supposed to mean? These guys wear and talk about it like it a badge of courage. Its sounds like the dumbest nickname for a DL group I have ever heard. Maybe the explanation will make sense.

Nothing like manufactured outrage to get you started in the morning!

It's for the HotBoyz to understand not anyone outside of them to; its about comradery . But my take is it refers to an Dirty South Rap group. One of their more popular songs stated "The block is hot; the block is hot". Could be referring to the QB being on the hot seat. To be honest they could call themselves the TwinkleToes as long as they produce.

Yah, you cant give yourself a nickname. You get a nickname by other people when you actually do something. Only one guy on the line that could actually brag about producing. What did they have under 40 sacks last year?

That makes the nickname even worse then I thought.

Breakfast!!!

I must say, I looked up images of the group. I wouldn't call anything about them "Hot".

Blame Taco, I think he's the idiot that came up with it. Fitting, considering he's the biggest disappointment on the entire team. You would think that they would have the sense to drop it after getting their *** handed to them the last time they stepped foot on the field, but I guess not.

Yep, the moron Taco strikes again. I wont bat an eye when they trade or cut him.

Lil Wayne and Birdman called themselves that, lots of bad rumors around their relationship. Like sex related. Might not be a good nickname

Neither will I.

But I will always keep one eye on the career of TJ Watt...
:(

So sad that we make mistakes like that. And I really don't care that he is supposedly a 3-4 DE. The guy can ball. Another one of these guys that "wasn't right for Marinelli's system" pass overs.

If Hill doesn't hit big, then Marinelli is officially a complete bust.

Outside linebacker but I know what you meant.

That's just the excuse that some people try to use in an effort to cover up what was and is an epic mistake. They can't face the fact that the Cowboys screwed up and broke an otherwise teriffic streak of successful 1st round draft picks.

Yep. That's all on him. For all of his "hits", there have been quite a few Henry Meltons, Nick Haydens, Stephen Paeas, and Joey Ivies along the way (and several more than I can't think of off the top of my head).

If Old Man River can't eliminate his tendencies and tells that got this team gashed for over 270 yards rushing in their last game, he's finished in this league. Just like what happened to his mentor Monte Kiffin, this league catches up to and passes everyone by eventually. It may be his time.

So what have been his "hits" besides Lawrence?

2-3 sack minimum, they made an exception for Woods with 1.5 sacks because he plays 1-Tech, per Woods on the Fan a few days ago. It’s a sack club that Tank started...

I can live with the nickname. I just want to see more cheerleader shots during the game. I am tired of people in costumes waving signs.

Jason Hatcher, George Selvie, and a few other linemen have had career years working with him.

A big frustration I have with him is this fixation on being able to "coach em up" and signing "orphans" or drafting guys in just the late rounds rather than bringing in established talent.

And I'll never forgive him for Taco over Watt, that's all on him.
