When he had long runs, he often took himself out of games. Whether this means he gets tired carrying the weight, I don't know. But it seems like it.
Zeke is a great running back, no question. Could he be better with less weight? Maybe.
It appeared he was tired more often than previous years. But we shall see.

I think he’s the ideal build for a RB. It a fine line balancing between that bit of extra padding to take punishing hits, and maintaining endurance, speed and quickness.

Zeke comes out of games but equally he takes as many snaps as any RB in the league and generally finishes strongly. To me that’s a sign that he has the balance right.

Yes. Does that sound strange?
How about 1,000 yard rushers Ironhead Hayward, Jerome Bettis, Jamal Lewis (2,000 yards). All big backs.

Tell me when any of those guys led the NFL in rushing AND led their team in receptions. I'll wait.

Word of advice: don't double down on stupid. Just back away.

I know what you mean by this, but it actually isn’t correct. Many teams that fail to reach the playoffs win their last game.

After posting this, I see someone beat me to my meaningless point!
We respect your points. I am glad we have seniors here talking football. Welcome!

Will was right...PFF is losing any credibility they on this one. Say what you want but if Zeke isn't in your top 3 for RBs you trippin.

I don't blame Zeke for adding weight...dude has defenses knowing his plays and running into 8 man box more than any other RB, plus getting more touches too.

Zeke is my favorite RB cause he's a Monstar out there on the field. 2X rushing champ, Linehan's playcalling couldn't stop him, only Goodell has been able to stop this man.

I don't know, I think calling Ryan Leaf the biggest bust in NFL history is pretty disrespectful. But as long as Zeke keeps winning rushing titles you think he cares what someone else thinks?

“Mainstream media bias”.....here we go.

It’s always the “mainstream media”....like PFF.

PFF is the opposite of “mainstream”. They are niche media, at best.

If Gurley and Zeke are both excluded, maybe it isn’t a media bias. Maybe it’s just horrible rankings.

I will worry about a fat WR more than a supposed fat Zeke any day.
Zeke is smart coming into the season a bit heavy, its not like the man has Dunlop disease, you know my belly dun lopped over my belt.
Having a little extra entering a long season is fine as long as its fine with Zeke, everybody has a different body, and I bet Zeke knows his body, and what it takes to get through the everyday pounding of an NFL season better than anyone posting about his obscene belly...lol

lol 2 things Will Cain cant help himself from allowing to sneak into his shows - his Cowboy fandom and his personal politics
He’s not different from any other ESPN talking head when it comes to his/her politics though. He just thinks differently than the rest..

True. I don't know this guy, but at some point you have to call it like it is. Zeke not on the list? That's like me making a top 25 list and leaving out Aaron Rodgers. But I have Brady, Brees, and Carson Wentz on that list. Really? And I am supposed to be taken seriously? Or is this some kind of a joke? Maybe if and when he takes the rushing title again he'll make the list. But probably not.

Zeke is a flat out beast! I think he is one of those guys whos weight goes up and down. No doubt a couple years ago he came out less leaner than he has been. He was no longer running away from CBs either. But he is a premier player whos career is going to be wasted if this team keeps using him too heavily. I like seeing Elliott being used in the passing game but use him more like Kamara gets used. Dallas needs a big short yardage RB to take some of the tough carries from Zeke.
