I dunno man. Trey Flowers to Detroit takes it for me. With the broncos trading for Flacco's behind.
Adding witten does nothing for the team. It actually has a better chance of backfiring than being positive.

This was the right move. The sad truth is that Witten, even at his age, is still the best tight end on this team. He's not stunting anyone's growth; our future tight end isn't on this team. If the Cowboys' are going to make a Super Bowl run, they needed someone reliable at the position.

Not sure how you know this both TE on roster have some possibility of being good they both were improving throughout the year especially jarwin

So yes I believe Witten can very well be a progress stopper depending on how he’s used Witten comes in as the most knowledgeable and the least athletic at this point.

I mean I can’t believe so many have forgotten how incredible inefficient he was when he left. We need someone who is a bit of a threat down the field Witten is a threat for a ten yard button hook when we need 15.

All this is coming from a guy who loves what Witten has done for this organization

Was it though?
Yeh it was. There was zero benefit to bringing him back. If anything it's a detriment to the young guys that rallied around Dak last year and especially the TE's we have. I also don't think he'll be able to take a back seat not only in snaps but as a guy that wants to be a leader in the locker room

He is a legitimate offensive weapon and will make some big time plays this year.
He was the best TE on the team the minute he came back.

Sure, for 5 yard routes he's the best. For anything else, i'll take Jarwin.

He's a reliable, trusted 3rd down short yard target for Dak. That alone, if it makes Dak happy to have him back, is worth it.

Only on routes shorter than 10 yards. Myself I'll take Jarwin. He & Dak showed good chemistry.
