Just to keep tabs, you’re the same guy that:

  1. Still thinks 55 is 150% of 37
  2. Tried to feign some sort of meaningful association with Caltech based on nothing more than having “walked the campus” and
  3. Tried to garner sympathy points by falsely claiming someone didn’t recognize his service as a vet, which on a scale of pathetic tactics only stolen valor guys can beat
You’re “winning” luuulz.

If your post is aimed at me, then you are confused.

You have accused me of #1 in the past; therefore, I assume that your post is aimed at me; however, I've never had any discussions related to being at Caltech or being a Vet.

What's shocking to me is the stats Wentz was able to put up without any training camp, and so many fewer games than Prescott.. I wish he was our quarterback and us not getting him will haunt us for the next 10 years.

Having said that I like Prescott. I wanted to draft him, glad we did, and think he's the perfect system's quarterback for what we run. He's not asked win games he simply asked to distribute the ball, protect the ball, and handoff the ball.

There are quarterbacks that won super Bowls that play like Prescott.. I'm not so sure if we open the offense up and put pressure on Prescott what will happen. I don't know how he would fare in an Eagles offense where the quarterback is everything, or the Rams offense that's quarterback dominant. Prescott is not competition for Wentz it's Goff.
I wanted us to draft Wentz and I'm not totally sold on Dak but thus far Dak has had the better career. All this talk about Wentz is based on what people think he will do. If he can't stay healthy none of it matters.

At some point we gotta step back and think, why is there only one fanbase in the league that thinks Player A is better than Player B.

It happens to every fanbase. But yea, it’s usually wrong.

It’s not aimed at you.

Where are you getting your QBR numbers?

You can get QBR from ESPN (they created the stat) or from multiple other sources.

There is a Raw QBR and a Total QBR (Opponent Adjusted).

I used Raw QBR but there's not a big difference.

Career Raw QBR / Total QBR
  • Dak 69.0 / 68.4
  • Wentz 63.8 / 63.2

The problem with this is that the numbers is there is no trend here. Dak’s best season was his rookie year. He’s not played as well since then (note I am not saying he’s played bad since then - just that his rookie year was his best season to date). Wentz’s worst year was his rookie year.

That’s not an argument for Wentz being better. It’s just a reality of the analysis. At this part it’s hard to really judge.

This year could be the year one separates from the other, especially if Wentz can’t stay healthy.
This is only true if you are solely looking at total seasons and not breaking down trends within the season. Dak was struggling mightily the second half of 2017 and first half of 2018. He then was playing much better again the last 8 games of 2018 plus the playoffs. Probably just as well as he played as a rookie, if not even better in some regards.

You’re right that Wentz is trending upward. Other than his injuries which is the primary concern.

Dak started out hot, then regressed and struggled and then started to improve again back to previous levels of not better. A diff ent trajectory to be sure. But I do think it’s not that weird for a young QB to go into a slump. Just like it isn’t strange for a rookie QB to struggle (Wentz)

It should also be noted Dak’s QBR has decreased each season since 2016.

Why aren't you posting the source to that QBR? It's ESPN.com I thought this place, including you, disliked the ESPN's QBR?

Also, anyone who actually watched the games knows that Mahomes played better in the playoffs and Brady came through multiple times in the clutch (which this board brings up for Dak) - thus, he wasn't the best in the playoffs. One of those QBs got a ring too.

Only here could a Dak vs Wentz thread turn into a Kaiser vs Polytech thread.
Love this forum

Yes, I'm sure your Dad was up to his waist in hand grenade pins and you never mentioned it before in all the insults you have posted. Sure. Your big claim in those threads was he served at Moffatt Field, so I'm reaaaaaaalllly sure this isn't one more lie from you.

Still trying to crap on a 20+ year veteran with two tours of service?

This is Kaiser folks!

A supposed fellow veteran.

Its more pity than venom from my side. There is a saying in the Entertainment Industry that "everyone is just kidding but no one can take a joke".

Cow Plop has posted multiple posts that have been deleted saying I perform sex acts on Dak Prescott. If he did that to you or anyone else here, they would respond.
Yikes, I shouldn't have interjected into your dispute. Apologies to both of you. I still think life is too short though..

I don’t know...does that ring your bell?

Lol but you’re above making sexual reference posts against another poster.

Come on man. If you’re going to say you didn’t make those kind of posts. Don’t make those kind of posts right after.

I said in post #88 in this thread that QBR was created by ESPN and that there are multiple sources for getting the QBR stats.

Yet in 2017, the eagles’ only had 55 less rushing yards than the cowboys and had the same YPA.

If you remove the QB rushing yards. They were actually almost exactly the same.

Sure if you count all of their backs together. And least we forget the drop in production when Zeke was out.

What’s it matter if it’s one back doing it or multiple backs doing it? There’s really no difference.

And it’s been noted in this thread that Dak went into a slump the second half of that season. If not for that slump, Dak’s total stats would dwarf Carson’s.

That’s what makes it a fair comparison.
