Several things made little to no sense, and many plot threads were just forgotten or ignored.

As Buffy once said, "I may be dead but I am still pretty."

Daenerys Targaryen was beautiful in life. Daenerys Targaryen was beautiful in death. With a dagger in her heart. And laying atop her own bright red blood painting Jon snow.

Props to Drogon.

His mother's life long dream was sitting on the Iron Throne. So. If mother cannot sit on it, then no one else will either.

He took his mother to her final resting place. Such a good son.

It is good Jon killed Dany. Miss "The North Will Always Be Free" Queen of the North would have never bent the knee. Winterfell would have been ash.

I am okay with Bran as King. Surprised the heck out of me though.

Game of Thrones. The End.

I'm incredibly PO'ed that the dragon didn't come back to support Jon. I mean what the bleep! Let's tear this damn place down! I mean, what belligerence!!!
Drogon spared his blood kin but he had only one mother. I did not know how it would all play out but I 'knew' Drogon would be faithful only to his mother.

I don't, but I did recently see a commercial or something about Vikings. Maybe I should check it out.
It's an excellent show! If you get the opportunity to see it from the beginning, I highly recommend it. It's based loosely on history, but with really good story lines and characters.

Honestly, since Bran is no longer really Bran, he's the least known commodity of all of them, and should have been least likely to rule 6 of the 7 kingdoms.
I expected him to say "I must leave you now" and lose all the color in his eyes when he was offered the job but at least now we know where the hell he's been going since he said what brought him there. He's been flying off and putting in applications to be King.

I will preface this by saying I loved season 8 even though it has been highly criticized. But the finale was godawful. Absolute trash.

It was a fun romp, but explain, please.

As bloodthirsty as Gray Worm has become, and has loyal as he was to Daenerys, one would think that he would have instantly killed Jon Snow for murdering his queen. What about all those letters Varys sent? What about Astapor and those Dany left to rule it for her?

Given how these nobles were born and raised, they laughed at the idea of giving commoners a say, but meekly went along with choose a "broken" ruler who could sire no off-spring, which might lead to a civil war later given the ambition of people raised as nobles?

There were more loose ends and plot holes and poor writing examples, but I am too tired to think of them right now.

A large amount of the final episode was dedicated to people slowly walking around when they could have been spent wrapping things up better. A large amount of the final few episodes were just useless filler that did nothing but pad the time length of the episode, rather than contribute to the plot and wrapping things up.

To anyone who wanted Cersei and Jaime to survive Death by Rubble so Cersei could die a more 'horrible' death.

Don't worry.

They survived, left body doubles in their places, sailed west, built a little cabin in the New World wilderness. And they lived happily ever after.

Until that faithful day Arya knocked on their front door...

I am surprised that no one has mentioned what an evil mastermind Bran was.

Think about it .. he planned all of it. He knew and planned to become king from the moment he became the Three-eyed Raven.

He could have prevented the deaths of the people of King's Landing, but he didn't. He wanted to be the king more than save the lives of his would-be people.

In an earlier episode Bran said, "I don't really want for anything any more" because he already knew he would become king.

He had convinced everyone he did not want anything and even Tyron says, "I know you don't want it" and "You don't care about power" ...

yet ... when Bran is offered the role of king, Bran says, "Why do you think I came all this way?"

Well played, Bran. Everyone else was simply a pawn.

There was only one game really being played.

Arya becomes a Buccaneer? I mean what the hell? How exactly does that idea come about? She had nothing ever to really do with boats except crossing the narrow sea. All the sudden she is a damn Buccaneer?
It's not about the boat. Most of her life was about getting vengeance, everything she did was in preparation and training for that goal. She hadn't had a chance to live her own life or learn who she is or wants to become, once there were no more names on the list her purpose in life ended. She doesn't really know what she wants, but she knows what she doesn't want....she doesn't want to become a lady, or a ruler, and doesn't want to be a fighter. Her sailing west is about exploration, exploring who she is and wants to become.

At the beginning, Grey Worm is killing prisoners and Jon says he will go speak with the Queen and leaves Grey Worm, while he finishes his duties. He gets to where the Queen is and somehow, Grey Worm is already there and standing at the top of the stairs. How did he beat Jon there? Considering the urgency of the situation, I wouldn't expect that Jon took the long way there, never saw Grey Worm pass him up, is there a subway we don't know about?

Considering how devoted the Unsullied and Dothraki were to Dany, it was a stretch to think they wouldn't have executed Jon immediately. They were all ready to put spears through him when he took a step towards Grey Worm after he questioned her orders, but would have shown restraint after killing their Queen in cold blood?
