Idiotic is blaming everyone and everything except Dak for our Red-Zone woes......at best he will run it in for a TD cause as far as passing for a TD in the Red Zone just hope we play the dead Giants every week.....here below you will find some find examples on how Dak short field woes become a major liability for us in the Red-Zone......
We are 29th in the Red-Zone for one and only reason....Dak Prescott!!!!!

Idiotic is every single garbage post you put on this message board.

A trained monkey can pull up YouTube videos of the things they want to highlight and present it as indisputable fact.

Hey Pappy. Why don’t you post the videos of him missing a target while playing a carnival game at an event, maybe after another hundred posts I might think it matters.

Meanwhile read all of my posts and realize that I don’t absolve Dak of any responsibility, but was merely pointing out that the ones blaming solely Dak are being ridiculous, because the idea it’s all his fault is ridiculous. The entire offense needed to play better in the redzone last season. But it’s MORONIC to say it’s solely on the QB when the same QB has had seasons where the team was much better in the redzone.

Completely agree. This should be self evident. Same quarterback, two different offensive lines, two different results.

If anything, they won despite the offensive line due to a quarterback who bought time and found a way to get out of the pocket. Never was that more evident than the Seattle playoff game.

But even with the changes on the o-line, I still put the blame squarely on the play-calling. It might not have been the league’s best offensive line, but it was good enough.
Yup. Remember that opening march vs QB? We marched down the field like they weren't even there. Got inside the 20, and BLAM, 3 long pass plays. FG.

And that was mostly the norm for playcalling. It just didn't make sense.

I'm not defending the offense.

I'm pointing out that the failure to advance in the playoffs was not due to offensive redzone problems.

The regular season redzone offense was good enough to get them to the playoffs.

Thats glossing over a whole lot of details. Our offense was completely dominated by the Rams. You gotta get into the red zone in order to have red zone problems. We weren't even good enough to get the opportunities to fail.

Our trip to the playoffs was more due to a weak division and the defense. Offense needs to get a lot better or we'll be lucky to duplicate last years "success". Hence, the new OC.

Completely disagree. New England changes their playbook year to year, even week to week, to exploit the weaknesses of their opponents and the advantages of their personnel. I don't think you could have chosen a worse example, honestly.

they've been running the same down field picks since Brady's 3rd year

They've changed their schemes quite a bit over the years, used to have a lot more deep passing game, then evolved into hvy 2 TE sets and now into a short, quick passing game. They do a very good job in changing game plans depending on opponents, some games they attack more often with their RBs, then you'll see the same RB get only a handful of carries the following week. That's been a big part of their success, the ability to adapt and adjust to opponents and to their personnel.
