While the NBA has a more narrow range of when players can be tested, and the punishments are less severe than the NFL, they still have these policies and the substance is still banned.

The NFL suspended six players during the 2017/2018 NFL season, while the NBA suspended two players for marijuana related violations of the substance abuse policy.
Which says nothing to what I just said. Thank you for that filler material.

I was responding to part of your statement “the NBA wasn’t enforcing anything to do with MJ”. Which simply isn’t true.

Lol... of course you address a part of the post that's a slight hyperbole and not the main point.
That's how you operate.

“ slight”. It’s absolutely false and as a result misrepresents the entire post. Because as a result of not challenging Federal Laws are not placing their Antitrust protection in jeopardy.

That's my politician!
Grade A for being you, instead of arguing a point!

If you hadn’t incorrectly represented the NBA with as you describe”slight hyberhole” then I wouldn't have needed to chime in.

I’m not sure what your point was since it was based on false accusations?

You know exactly what the point was.
Don't be disingenuous.

That puts us on a level playing field on your end and you don't want that.

Perhaps you need to present your point without false accusations and or slight hyberhole. Otherwise I’ll argue on content or context and redirect accordingly.

Sigh...
The NBA is much more lax on even testing for MJ, much less laying down punishments, than the NFL.
MUCH. To the point that it's a given that weed is smoked throughout and Adam Silver himself has discussed that if the NBA cracked down on MJ, what would be player's alternatives?
And the Federal Government is not exactly breathing down their door.

The Feds are not concerned.

Which was your point.

Federal Law and the NFL's awesome deals with their antitrust deals.

The Feds are not going to care. If they did, they would have cracked down already.

Edit: you don't deserve this entertainment. You are an *** with arguing. Any woman should hate to be your wife.

The point is the NBA is not going against Federal Law despite a more lenient policy. Marijuana is still a banned substance.

They are still suspending players. And administering it as a banned substance.

Describe their leniency however you will but the fact remains they are not ignoring Federal Law which is the key point in my argument.

Lol.
So... if the NFL gets much more lax, like the NBA- almost to the point to ignoring it, you think the Feds are going to intervene?
The NBA suspended what? 2 guys?
Whoa! We got the police in here!

No... you are arguing the letter of the law and this world doesn't operate like that.

You are not correct on your argument.

Trust: if the NFL decides to not even test for MJ, the Feds won't say a word.

Yes, if the NFL took a more lenient approach similar to the NBA, I don’t believe there’d be any action taken against them.

The difference in the two leagues approach IMO is driven by the owners and the perception they are attempting to present to not only the public but the networks and their sponsors.

Yes,but your argument was that the Feds have their law and you don't cross it.
That was your argument.
So you concede?

I know you're going to say no and go the letter, but seriously.
The NFL simply stops testing and no Fed will say anything so said argument is moot.

All the league has to do is not test for it, or if they do just look the other way. They don’t have to “legalize” it.

I’m saying they could if leagues ignored the law. And why it remains a banned substance.
