Blaming the QB for the overall scheme , playbook & play calling of the offense is a bit odd, if not completely inept.

Its like if I said Jason Garrett is a good HC, again completely inept .

This is the 3rd or 4th time he has posted that - and been called on it - and he just now realized his mistake. And his whole schtick is claiming to be smart.
It great comedy but also sad that he is begging someone, anyone to agree with him and the best he can manage is an Eagles fan...

It's as if we took his stapler and moved him to the basement.

Don’t put that on me.

It’s the usual cast of idiots that bring it up trying to throw shade, which is comical.

As they say, it takes two to tango.

To be fair, I think every single one of us on this forum have gotten into some silly arguments. Im certainly in no position to judge you or anyone else on that. Lol

Wait, I dropped out the thread for a while. Cal Poly and the Eagles fan are NOT going to the prom anymore?

Blaming a QB for how poorly he played as a rookie is an odd route to go.

Carson has shown clear progress every year as a starter. 2016 is still Dak’s best season

And foles took that same offensive scheme and made it look golden. Sort of like how the patriots make QB's look good in their system then trade them and they look well not so good. The eagles system > Garrett/Linecrap system. Wish we used players to their strengths better. They turned Dak into a drop back passer and very few play-action plays when we have the best running back in the NFL.

Doug Knew Nick from time at KC , so he knew what he could do and if he was able to run the system efficient enough.

Lool, you operate in an echo chamber of stupidity with kaiser and quincycartera; of course you don’t notice anyone else.

Going to college nowadays is dumbing down not getting smarter.

I mean. This isn’t true. But you’re entitled to your opinion.

I do think pointing every kid in the direction of college isn’t necessarily a good thing. Better availability of trade schools for kids to develop skills for plumbing, being an electrician, construction, etc. would be a great thing. You can have a great career in those fields.

I also think that higher standards in college would be good. It’s too easy for students to pass nowadays.

All that being said. College itself isn’t responsible for dumbing anyone down. It’s just like anything else. The more effort somebody puts into it, the more knowledge and skills they will get out of it.

But it’s not responsible for “dumbing” anyone down.

It’s not the truth. Your comments show that you didn’t actually watch the eagles running game in 2017 very much. It was outright dominant in a lot of games. They were ripping off huge runs left and right and their offensive line was one of the best in the league that season. Much better than ours, especially once Tyron got hurt.

Those are the facts. You pontificating and throwing out your theory on how a one back offense is more of a threat than a talented two back offense isn’t a fact.
The running game was good, but teams were still game planning to stop Wentz. Blount and later on Ajayi (and Clement) benefitted from this.

This is the point that no one considers when just looking at raw numbers. The numbers end up where they end up at the end, but which one was the cause and which one was the effect (run and pass). No one enter a game vs philly thinking we need to emphasize stopping the run like they do vs Dallas. Defensive gameplay in hand mindsets should be taken into consideration when having these discussions...but they rarely are.

And Dallas hasn’t generally had the defensive support Wentz has had since he’s been in the league. That team won a Superbowl with its backup QB. Don’t pretend they’ve got a roster disadvantage to Dak's Cowboys.

I was only talking about opposing team’s defensive game plans and mindset when they plan to face the Eagles and the Cowboys...it’s quite different.
