You post this like it's bad. I think it's awesome.
For a week or two awesome. Several months each year snowed in.. not so much.

Good news for players .. he only needs an apartment or hotel for about 4 or 5 months a year there.

Half of them probably didn’t even read the actual article. Not trying to defend Cole here either.

I don't really care what happens to Beasley in Buffalo. He left my team so he's dead to me. I rarely keep up with former Cowboys' careers (players like DeMarcus Ware are the exception because I wanted him to get a Super Bowl ring if we couldn't).

However, as a newspaper editor, I certainly believe in getting all the facts before a conclusion can be reached, instead of jumping to one based on a sound bite. Those posting on social media and many internet "reporters" aren't held to the same standard, so we end up with situations like this where more than half the people who read a post/article fly off the handle with absolutely no idea of the context of the quote or, in many cases, what the truth is because of slanted reporting for the sake of views.

We live in an age of misinformation where fair and accurate reporting is needed more than ever IMO because of all the unfair and inaccurate reporting that circulates and, according to studies, actually gets more views and shares than real news.

I'm not saying the reporting on Beasley is inaccurate (it seems fairly presented), but the Twitter post was clearly worded to drive up interest in it instead of being an accurate representation of the article.

Always liked Cole Beasley! I've felt there were numerous times in big games where he was overlooked and wide open just to have the ball thrown the other way. He has made play after play and yet he still gets no respect. I hope he has many great seasons in Buffalo. Just because he chose to leave the Cowboys doesnt mean I wont root for the guy. Maybe before FA I would have been pissed but not anymore. There is no loyalty anymore.

He sounds like the guy who gets dumped then can't stop talking about the girl. He claims he doesn't care, but secretly he's checking her social media all day and taking the long route home from work so he can drive by her house in the evening.

I mean, not that I personally know what any of that is like. Nope. No sir.

Worst celebration in the league
Annoying chip on his shoulder every interview
Mediocre production
Terrible rap which wouldn’t be heard if he wasn’t a Cowboy
Tweets of a scourned footballer

What’s to like about this guy, only behind Greg Hardy and Randall as far as Cowboy footballers I don’t like

I honestly believe that Cole Beasley took it personally when the Cowboys released Dez Bryant the way they did. Bryant was Beasley's best friend on the team, and he believed they didn't treat Bryant well at the end. So, it's not shocking that he didn't want to be in Dallas anymore.

Frankly, I thought the Cowboys gave Bryant a raw deal by releasing him several weeks after free agency started and just before the draft, when teams were no longer focused on signing big-name players. And I'm just a fan. I can see how someone who was real close to Dez would get upset about it.

Let me say, we need to let it go as well. Why are we posting his quotes/tweet here?

He is gone and I don't care what he has to say anyway.

Let's move on

True that beasley was dez's little buddy. But if dez was the talent he thought he was, someone would have jumped at the chance to sign him. Especially considering he was a free agent and no draft picks or players were needed.

How calculating of you Cole. Using the Dallas Cowboys as a stepping stone to the football mecca that is Buffalo.:muttley:
