He gets disrespected by Cowboys fans who think anyone can do what he does. If you take Zeke off this team they are a 6 win team at best.
Didn't the Cowboys go 3-3 when he was suspended? That makes them an 8 win team and it also makes you incorrect. It goes to prove that you need a decent run game aka a balanced offense to win.

You don't seem to understand the Cowboys have a certain scheme on offense which is heavy on the run. They aren't going to change that scheme to benefit a players longevity. They will just get a new RB when he can no longer answer the bell like they need him to. If it happened to Emmitt Smith, then don't expect Zeke to be an exception.
Oh I understand what the scheme they are doing. The days of having a bell cow RB are gone. Teams are getting smart and using a rotation of RBs. The problem with replacing Zeke is unless the RB is elite Dak can't be competitive in games against good teams. See the Eagles, Falcons, Chargers.
When Zeke gets shut down Dak can't be competitive either. See the Rams,
Denver's games.

These are Dak Prescott's stats for the Divisional Playoff game against the Rams...

20 completions, 32 attempts, 62.5% pass completion, 266 yards, 1 TD, 0 interceptions, 99.2 QBR

Zeke got shut down but Dak was very competitive. Playing on the biggest stage of the season, Dak did very well despite Zeke getting shut down. These are just the facts so what else you got?

He definitely had a hip issue after one of his hurdle moves where he went down awkwardly. He was never the same after that. Maybe laboring through that.

I also wondered if he might have had bruised ribs because he did seem to be more winded than he should have been quite a bit.
I noticed that after the hurdle, and JG should have shut down the hurdle move, as it is a good way to get hurt.
Just imo but elliot was winded more due to being overweight and not in as good shape as he should have been.
He took himself out a lot, and sometimes it was on 3rd down, lol and aikman said if it were him, he would want elliot in there on all 3rd downs.

yeah E had what 47 yards in that game,11.75 yds per quarter lol which is not too good lol, biggest game of the year.
But to be fair the Dallas run blocking schemes were poor too, for example twice suh tackled E in backfield, because he was virtually unblocked !
Now how can you not have anyone block suh??

But the Rams won
They schemed to stop Zeke, which kept the ball in daks hands, scheme left things open for dak...

But the Rams won with the ball in daks hands
Ain't the 1st team to go that route, won't be last

The statement was made that Dak can't be competitive if Zeke is shut down. I provided stats to dispute that statement. But now you want to move the goal post by adding that Dak has to win the game too. Sorry, but that was not part of the statement I was proving wrong. I just had to prove he could still be competitive if Zeke is shut down. I did that, case closed.

Also the coaching, game plans, and what teams they are playing.
Elliot is the starter for Dallas, if they lose him, they will not win as many games as if they had him, but it is the same for any
team with a good starting RB.
But it isnt going to be that big of a difference as some might think.

They went 3-3 but I was some of the worst coaching you will ever see in this league. Nobody sits there and let’s their quarterback get killed by one man like they did in Atlanta.

no they won keeping it out of his hands they ran the ball so effectively that TOP was slanted, we won 3 of 4 quarters scoring wise but didnt have enough time and posssesion left to come back.. this Rams game was squarely on the Defense and Coaches not Dak and the offense.. sorry good try though but Dak did all he could when they had the ball and for what that Tool SL was calling etc..

1 for 10 on 3rd down conversions in the first half didnt help an already struggling defense. Dak did absolutely nothing to help the defense when he was needed most. Rams took their foot off Daks throat at half time.

3rd down conversion rate is a deceiving stat because it assumes three downs were used to convert to 1st down when much of the time it was being done before they got to 3rd down. The stats I quoted speak for themselves so I need not waste time with your weak argument. Dak was plenty competitive in that game. But go right ahead and revise history to fit your narrative as you have been. The stats contradict your lies.

Yeah the Rams won because the ball was in Dak’a hands.

The whole rushing for 273 yards didn’t have much to do with it.

Yep Dak couldn't convert on 1 3rd down to help his defense at the very least catch their breath for a few minutes. But that's ok his stats say he had a good game. Go have another drink!

That's a long reach at best if you think that counters my argument. Dak is a very good QB well on his way to becoming elite. He's going to have a great 4th seasons.

Dak put up 7 points in first half....which let the Rams stay in the pounder game, wore us down

didnt say win by himself.....he is not a goat.
Needed to put up enough to make them back out of stop Zeke 1st mode
Put up enough that they couldn't protect Goff by pounding the ball,
Competitive he might be, but because Zeke pulls the extra guy into the box , that allows dak to throw at a already open guy

The Rams were pounding the defense from the opening kickoff to the final whistle. The defense had zero answers for the Rams running game. They got smoked and it had nothing to do with the offense.

Thank you for conceding my point, Dak was competitive despite Zeke being shut down. That's all I'm saying. Zeke rarely gets shut down and now that we have Travis back at C and other improvements on the OL, the offense ought to be better than ever.

18 million worth of competitiveness if he can't get at least the 8th man from dropping into the box
