The offense didn't show up for a quarter and a half? Did you see the game? Do you not remember how the officials bogus flagged the offense often, killing drive after drive, during the 1st half?

No I dont. Think I remember people on here saying something like that but dont remember.

Agree that his value is around $20 million but you stretch it to $25 if you think he is still improving and is face of franchise. The $30 million year was complete pipe dream by his agent.

I agree and that's the whole argument about Dak in a nutshell. His "market value" contract might, and I say might, cause the Cowboys to lose some pretty nice players. Byron Jones and La'el Collins come to mind.
Well let’s say the contract is going to be anywhere from 20 to 30 million. I think fans would prefer closer to the 20 as opposed to 30. That 10 million difference isn’t keeping Byron or Collins. Collins is more than likely gone this year anyway. We have far too much money and resources into that offensive line. Byron is the tricky one. While solid...he himself is looking to break the bank and we may need to look elsewhere there too.

It didnt help the offense didnt show up for a quarter and a half vs GB but that's on the defense more so that and and the rams game. But the defense mainly carried this team last year.

A defense that couldn't get turnovers & Lawrence disappearing last 8 games.

Stephen A as the voice of reason......

Like he said.....what quarterback has went to the Super Bowl with the "wrong" situation?
Aaron Rodgers situation became wrong as the season went on when he went to the super bowl. I'm not paying a QB elite money if he needs everything around him to be perfect.

In true SAS fashion...after he gets signed then he'll start talking about what a stupid contract it is......he likes to fall on both sides of the fence.

SAS couldn’t care LESS about #4! He wants a max contract for Dak because he thinks it’ll screw Dallas with the cap further down the road.

Try living in NE Penna where as a Cowboys fanatic, I get in these "discussions" all of the time with Eagles/Steelers and recently, Patriots fans....they don't like me much :D

good news is that the Giants fans have crawled back into their holes

But what quarterback doesn’t need it to be perfect?
