It's more than Dak's mechanics that remind me of Warren Moon, it's his leadership and mental toughness when the pressure is on late in the game. Maybe even a little Steve McNair as well. I think Kitna is going to be very good for Dak and the rest of the Cowboys QBs.

I'd take it that Warren Moon is Kitna's "positive" comparison for Dak. He's not going to dump on him and go "worst technique I've ever seen, ho lee cow we've got a lot to work on". He just needs to give the press a positive soundbite for them to forget about next week. So maybe he does see a little bit of Moon in Dak's footwork or motion, so he tells the media "yeah, Dak reminds me of Warren Moon". Mission accomplished.

I am sure he and Dak keep it much more real behind closed doors.

I just hope Kitna doesn't get into a throwing challenge after practice. Dak's been know to "win" none. lol... I was going to say a few, but so far he's won none.

I'd actually like to see Dak make that comparison believable in 2019.

Can't say as I blame Kitna for trying to create a positive spin for Dak.

I honestly believe he'd have been wise to pick Steve McNair instead.

We're blowing this waay out of proportion........he only compared ONE technical part of Dak's skill to Moon. That's it, just one...he didn't anything about the accuracy, yards, QB rating, etc.

This is pathetic! What a insult to Moon, I lost all respect for Kitna. Moon was an amazing passer. His long balls were his strength and its Dak weakness.

They do have similar deliveries. The "L" position and extension are a little different and so in the footwork.
Nice compliment though, since Kitna played alongside Moon.
