Smith graduates...two pages. Zeke makes a fool of himself in Vegas...25 pages and counting.
I came here just to say the same thing

Zeke should think about his offseason actions and make some changes

Congrats to Jaylon..... it is quite an accomplishment

Wonder if Bill Gates’ mother felt the same about Bill finishing his Harvard Degree?

Pretty redundant but just wanted to give props to Jaylon. This guy has quickly become one of my favorite Cowboys, he seems like a great guy on and off the field. I hope they find a way to keep him around for several more years but I’ll hold off on buying his jersey until a contract extension is finalized just in case.

I've been on both ends of the spectrum...failing to get to graduate and graduating. I quit high school because of family stuff. Finally ended up in college and spent over 7 years getting my undergraduate...and got to walk for the first time in my life. The masters and superintendent certificate came easy. Had a 4.0 in the doctorate program at A&M, completed all the coursework and never wrote the dissertation. I failed to complete that degree. It is SO easy to let life catch up with you and not complete a degree. That's what makes Jaylon going back and getting his degree so special. If I remember right, Emmitt Smith did the same thing (because he promised his mom). I'm sure there are a lot of NFL players that go back and complete their degrees. It's no less amazing.

The guys who are stars literally could live on what they've made for the rest of their live's if they manage it well. It would be so incredibly easy to let it go. I know how easy it is...because I let the last one go.

Congratulations to him. He seems to be exactly the kind of athlete we would want as role models.

I love this guy, will be my next jersey purchase...great person, admirable leader and great work etihic, awesome football player and hopefully a cowboy for life.

Best risk reward pick in Dallas history: period.
That Staubach thing worked out okay too.

There are roughly 1700 players during the NFL regular season, less than 700 of those graduate. Jaylon is part of the 40% of NFL players that have graduated college, and based on those average numbers one of only 21 on the Cowboys. Add to the story that it's Notre Dame, a school that is known for great academics, this is a huge accomplishment and we should be proud to have him. We all know this man has overcame massive professional athlete hurdles to get where he is. To put in the work that he has put in to get where he is on the field is one thing, to graduate college while going through what he has the past couple of years is nothing short of amazing..

and if he stays healthy for a few years, he will be set up financially for the rest of his life if he is smart - so going back to finish is amazing to me, because he likely didn't need to (financially) - I wish we would hear more stories like that from around the league;
