Time and time again? Yeah this is false. Most of the time, the teams who get to the Super Bowl are the top 2 seeds in each conference. The playoffs are hardly some crap shoot. Giants in 2007 and Steelers in 2005 were wild cards and won it all. If you are not a top seed in the NFL, your chances of making a deep run or winning it all is extremely low. This notion that the NFL is so unpredictable and anyone can win is just not true.
Did you miss the word "little" in front of luck.?

I’d say Our divisional foes upgraded more. We’ll see if it’s enough. I dont see that we’ve added any impact starters with exception of Witten.

My biggest concern is DL losing Gregory , Irving and injury to Lawrence. If our DL isn’t as strong impacting our defense overall we could be in trouble unless our offense becomes Top 10.

Man..

Thanx for the shout out.

We good.

Been following your posts.

So tell me.. What about this team bothers you?

Anything?

Obvious...unproven elements: Garrett, Moore, crunch time dominance, and sustainable top levels of play. The team is still a little soft starting in the 'black and blue' December, through the playoffs.

They are getting better, but questions of dominance still are there. Do they have the heart and guts of a champion? I want teams to fear the Dallas defense for pressure and black 'n blue marks.

The offense has to avoid ruts, and the team has to show up at the very start of this upcoming season.

Tell the media just to stay off this team for this season!

It seems like you’re forgetting Robert Quinn. He is an impact starter and is a more accomplished pass rusher than Gregory.

I think RDE will be fine with him there. We just need Lawrence to be healthy for the season on the left side.

I’m not convinced Quinn will make an impact or is at this time a greater talent.

Like I said, those are my concerns. We shall see.

I mean I like randy Gregory but.... Quinn is a much more experienced and far more accomplished player than him.

But we will see.

But is Quinn at this stage of his career more talented and able to produce at same level and impact as Gregory did last year?

We won’t know until we see. That is what I’d define as a concern.

Yeah, it's just one of those cute little sayings that people love to spew. I guess it makes them feel important or giddy or something.

Well, who gives a damn what you think. You’re consistent in your negativity about any and all Cowboys. Jeez, gimme me a break.
Do personal attacks for no reason send some little numnums up your spine or something?

I knew you had some concerns.

We all do.

I agree with the fear thing.

Until we stop trying to be top tier..

and just do it..

I will have my doubts too.

I think this team looks solid both sides of the ball and think they will make a legit run at a SB. I also think because they did not go out shopping for big money FA yet still filled areas with what I see as some good quality players they should be able to address key FA who are currently on the team giving them a bigger window for success not just this season but in following season.

The most underrated additions to this team are Robert Quinn and Daniel Wise. If Wise makes the team, of course. Those are the types of additions that fly under the radar but can be real difference makers. I also think Joe Jackson was a major steal and could be a fine contributor.

how can Daniel Wise be underrated and then the next sentence say "If Wise makes the team" ?

We have a ton of guys competing for the DLine, and we tend not to focus on guys like Wise. Plus, no matter how much talent a player has, every player coming in from college is a prospect until proven otherwise. Wise can be underrated, but not be ready to contribute, or may not fit into our ideas of DLiners.
