I don't want to hear from any Cowboys fan that Goodell and the league office don't have an agenda against the Cowboys compared to other teams.

Oh stop it.

Every player who has a run in like this has the NFL looking at the situation.

Goodwill and the NFL make a nice scapegoat I guess for Zeke’s continued immaturity and poor decision making.

I can't disagree with all the comments above about the video not appearing to be a big deal...the Crawford video looking worse...others doing worse and not getting suspended...Goodell being inconsistent...players being made examples...etc.

However, all of them are even more reasons why someone like Zeke needs to wake up and smell the coffee. If his agent has his best interest in mind HE should be the one to get in a room with Zeke. I suggest he whack Zeke up side the head with a 2 x 4 to get his attention before the conversation starts. The language in the first suspension was vague but warned that ANY confrontation with law enforcement (and security people would fall in that group) could be grounds for further discipline. Call them baby-sitters, personal security, personal assistants, mentors or whatever...Zeke needs to hire one or two if he cannot muster the personal discipline and common sense to keep himself out of situations like this. Especially when he KNOWS there is a target on his back, he is basically on probation with the NFL and is wanting to get a large second contract with the team.

I know many will say he is young and immature...I sum it up in one word...stupid.

You stop it. You know it's true with the Cowboys agenda. Btw, there is nothing "Goodwill" about Goodell towards the Cowboys... unless you are an iggles fan.

Actually I know no such thing.

What I do know is that Zeke has numerous issues off the field and is clearly on the NFL radar. Now a smart player would try to stay out of trouble and stay off their radar. But Zeke doesn't appear to be the smartest dude when it comes to this.

That's the problem. Guys like you look at an incident like this in a vacuum when in fact, it's another in a pattern of questionable decision making. I have no idea if he will get a fine or suspension but if he does, Zeke is to blame first and foremost, not the NFL league office.

I just don't think the video was that big of deal. He was respectful to the cops. For being cuffed for doing nothing he was very calm.
Obviously you have not ever been cuffed.

Try resisting after that.

See what happens.

YouTube is full of that.

Zeke handled it well.

Getting cuffed does not mean you are guilty..but close.

What concerns me the most is Zeke's friends.

He is always looking for a good time and involved.

The only reason police need to cuff you is the belief you "could" pose a threat otherwise. Its standard procedure in this sort of situation to cuff whoever is accused while you sort things out. He wasn't cuffed for "no reason." He was cuffed because he shoved a security guard after having a verbal altercation with a female. Checks all the boxes.

Yep.

Had a buddy put in handcuffs in Key West years ago after he shoved a guy in a bar for this same reason. He got drunk, shoved a kid who bumped him, bouncers immediately stepped in before it got really out of control. Someone in the other guy's party grabbed some cops on the street to settle the thing and they put my buddy in cuffs while they sorted out what happened. Bouncers had fingered him as the guy who started it so the cops cuffed him. He was eventually taken out of cuffs like 10 minutes later and asked to leave the bar.

Think this is being blown out proportion a bit.....not excusing Zeke history or behavior but the incidence is fairly minor. My guess, a fine and be done with it.

"Guys like you"? Zip it already. Everyone knows Goodell targets the Cowboys in any way he can. Btw, I'm one of Zeke's biggest partying critics, but that little shoulder shrug was nothing. The only reason that security guard fell is because that waist high movable gate was right behind his legs. Just watch, Zeke will get at least 1-2 game suspension while other players with more questionable actions will get less.

If the video from Las Vegas had involved almost anyone else, no one would have batted an eye. But because it was Ezekiel Elliott bumping a security guard, the NFL likely will review the incident, C...

Its because the moron has had like 7 stupid little incidents like this. He was also seen pushing his girlfriend again in that video, slightly. The girl clearly wanted nothing to do with him and was trying to walk away from him.

My God does he have TWO nose rings?

He is clearly as immature as it gets.

Along with many of us, I've suspected it was only a matter of time 'til the league office got involved. Here's hoping their newfound policy of giving leniency finally shows up with respect to Zeke and their past penchant for treating him harshly. Let's hope they won't overdo it this time.

I don't think that's true at all. We wouldn't be as aware of it if it were happening to a player on another team because obviously we wouldn't care as much, and that's especially true if the player were not as high profile as Zeke, but the NFL would at least take a look at it. If nothing else, the fact that the girlfriend was trying to walk away from him and he kept getting in her way would cause the league to take a look. Even though it wasn't a big deal, it doesn't have to be for women's advocacy groups to be involved, and the NFL is all about making a show of being on the right side of those kinds of issues.

There was no need for Zeke to even get in his face and body bump the guard. There was no reason for him to be in that girl’s face either.

There is no one to blame here but Zeke himself. He needs to be smarter.

what kraft or anyone else did is irrelevant to zeke and his current problem. at a time when renegotiations are being talked about that would pay him mega millions, he goes out and does something stupid like this. in public view of lots of people and media. does anyone think he did this under advice of his agent as a means to get even more money? does anyone think his agent is loving this bs? if i'm handling his negotiations for the cowboys, this is my starting point. the price just went down.
