Nah, nothing to see here. I’ve been told by several posters this is a nothing incident and we shouldn’t be concerned. Jerry running his mouth, as he always does, by publicly stating he didn’t think the league would do anything about it just encourages the league even further to prove to Jerry that he doesn’t make the decisions, they do.

The only thing consistent in the NFL, is their inconsistency on how to handle these situations
There's a side of me that despises goodell/NFL office for their unevenness and almighty attitude in handling these things, and then there's the side of me that can't believe how stupid Zeke is and that he deserves what he gets. I don't know. I don't think I even care anymore.

We could survive two games, right? Especially if it’s at the beginning of the season when everyone is trying to find their footing. But honestly the way these stars are treated the second they manifest their God given extra-ordinary ability, I am amazed we don’t have tons more Odell Beckham Jr. screaming man-children. Still no excuse for Zeke to have even sniffed the inside of a Texan bar. Smh.

I'm beginning to get concerned that Elliot is one of "those guys". A guy that's polite and nice when he thinks it serves his interests, but is a different person when he doesn't think the camera's rolling.

I don't know if he is, but I've always really disliked those type of people. You can't trust them.

A hefty fine within the confines of the CBA and a meeting at NFL HQ with Goodell or Troy Vincent should suffice. Don't disclose the fine amount or the punishment...and keep it moving.

Can you think of anyone better for them to use to make a point? He already gave them cause when he pulled that parade stunt while under investigation and while this latest doesn't really seem that bad, it's part of a pattern that he just doesn't care. He's going to do what he wants to do.

But yea, Elliott is a high profile player with DV history who challenged the NFL’s decision on one of the most visible teams with problem players. I’d expect the NFL to make an example.

The fact Jerry chooses to embrace and pursue these type of athletes places us in a compromising position with the league.

Bottom line her IMO, he needs to lay off the sauce and focus 100% on the game. Or, be ignorant and let the league dictate if and how much you play.

It is a nothing incident. The league taking action doesn't change that.
