Actually in many states it would be charged as assault by contact.
that code/law is nearly never used you can use that for spitting on someone but 99% of the time the Police do what they did ask what happens check out video and let everyone move on their way..you can get tickets for just about anything Jay walking rolling stop signs and not stopping enough at a right on red , and no turn signal etc etc BUT they are rarely used and yes its about the same indiscretion as what happened here..BS calling that assault the guy moved backward barrier behind him made him lose his balance as Zekes moving forward..they yelled something at him and thats why he was walking away and suddenly turned around..sure be the bigger man but stuff like this happens tp all of us..

Not sure what you said ,but I simply replied to another who said the touching and forearm wasn't assault. There are are statues in the law that(whether it is ever used or not ) that says thatit is assault by contact. It would have been upgraded to agg. assault if the guard had been injured during the fall. Zeke was being an *** and should lose games for being in the securities face and for having a public confrontation with another woman.

He hasn't really done anything here yet. And while the previous incident that got Zeke suspended was dumb, Goodell was quite clear that Zeke needed to stay away from trouble.

Zeke has clearly not learned despite stating he has. He has a real problem and I'm not going to guess what it is since it could be numerous things.
Then I reckon an outpouring of gratuitous kudos are in order to yer' befittin' bestowment fer'that wellspringing wealth of insightful info you've relayed unto me in that post of yer's,,,bro!  o_O

Wow...don't know how they can get away with that but you're right.
The NFL does what they want. If Zeke kisses a few rears and apologizes to dude. He will get a slap on the wrist too. I bet if Zeke was not so defiant in 2017, he would have received a two-three game suspension.

"Push"
"Victim"
"Battery"

This report is extra.

To be in someone's personal space and they fall trying to move back is a "push".

Same person falls over a janky little gate is considered a "victim".

Lastly, to somehow bring up the term "battery" in any capacity in this situation is evidence of the police needing a better term for what happened.
Or Zeke is a moron. Dude can't handle his liquor.

If they saw it and handcuffed him they should be fired.
That cannot be classed as assault. If it is then it opens up a whole new level of lawsuits..

Law enforcement can't wait and watch until someone is already hurt before stepping in, If they perceive a possible threat and the offender isn't cooperative, they have to have the authority to intervene.

And, if it is classified as an assault, their would be no grounds for suing simply for treating it as an assault unless excessive force were used.

He touched him and he fell over the rails. Lol. He may have flopped but fell. I wonder if he knew he was in camera. I am guessing he could get a check.

I did not see anything in the video with the woman that warrants a suspension

Elliot can simply apologize to this kid and get him off his back before he decides to press charges. He likely wants a check or something. Start with the apology. I am sure goodell will look into this and if he presses charges then it will make it easier to suspend. Not that goodell needs changes pressed.

I didnt see a flop at all. I saw that he fell because he was backing up to avoid the contact Zeke was initiating, and he stumbled over the rack or whatever it was behind him. No indication of any lawsuit. Clearly no damage anyway, so really nothing to sue for.

With the video and the contact he made, isn’t that enough to sue for now adays. He didn’t appear hurt.

You can't argue with a woman in public? Come on... I don't think he touched her, did he? This has become ridiculous.

That’s what I’m saying about no damage. I person needs to show he was damaged in some way to get compensation in a lawsuit.

Is it possible he could say that since the incident he has suddenly started hurting. Is there a time table on that.

It’s not impossible but he would need a doctor to back him up. The guy didn’t bother to press charges or make a big deal out of it though, so I doubt this is a concern
