Let me go ahead and start my campaign for Keaontay Ingram RB from the University of Texas. Ingram is a Sophomore right now. Use Zeke up then punch, push, and kick his butt out the door. Keaontay Ingram.

It absolutely would be hard to punish him if this was a one off situation.

But it's not. The NFL is in the business of sending messages to players. So when a player continues to screw up off the field, no matter how minor the particular incident may or may not be, no one should be surprised when the league hands down a fine or punishment.
I’m just wondering how they league could label the incident to fit a fine or suspension. Don’t get me wrong the NFL has that grey area to punish him.

Lol, ok. Keep the blinders on, I have a feeling they’ll come in handy within the next year if not sooner.
Blinders for what? What exactly has Zeke ever done? Pulled a girl's boob out? Got in a bar fight? Shoved a guy? DV? Noise is just noise, he's never actually been in trouble.

The media needs something to talk about......nothing like a cowboys player in trouble to bring in views and clicks

Lol, dude this is seriously dumb. “Noise is just noise”?! Are you kidding me? What part of abiding by certain rules when you work for an employer don’t you understand? No, it wasn’t noise, it was a video of him pulling down a girls shirt. It doesn’t matter if anyone was offended and it doesn’t matter if he was arrested and it doesn’t matter if she begged him to do it. The only thing that does matter is what the league thinks and that was a clear violation of their rules, dumb or not. So was getting in the security guards face no matter what was said to him. Even blocking the girl could be considered intimidation if they want it to be. Either you have zero idea how the NFL is or you are a sheltered version of Hellen Keller.

You’ll never understand, you refuse to acknowledge that what he’s done can be easily considered breaking the rules of conduct by the leagues definition, not yours.

Love the Eagles, too bad Zeke can’t take some good advice from them.

You and I have gone over the Zeke thing way back.
Sigh...
That old boy just wants to have fun like a reg civvie and things just don't work like that for him.

What disturbs me is his aggressiveness upon that woman. I don't like that.
I don't like that at all. He has some history and this shows more who he is than anything else.
I don't like that ugliness. I don't care what team he plays for.

Par for the course. Ignore tool is a blessing.
I rarely put people on ignore. Maybe for a day or until I come on next time. Otherwise I don’t do that because I recognize that online folks say things that they wouldn’t online over these topics and I don’t want to only see pov I agree with. I just don’t like when you’ve already said something and people get conveniently obtuse on something. That’s annoying.

Where did I say I was rich? Zeke is on a rookie contract. It's a fair amount of money for most, but not what I would call rich.

As for what you say you spoke to in your previous post, that was a back pedal, and you are exposing yourself as one who just switches your story as necessary to continue your narrative.

You can't suggest that fans want to see a player succeed on the field and help the team have great success, and at the same time say they want to see him fall from grace and face suspensions from the NFL over and over. Those are conflicting ideas, and you can't pick and choose which one you want to promote depending on which part of your narrative you want to promote at the time.

EDIT: I looked up Zeke's contract and it is more than I was thinking, so I will amend what I said about having a greater net worth than Zeke - I fall below that assuming he hasn't pissed away too much money.
Before the edit you said your net worth was more than Zeke and using my friend Google I saw his contract was 24 million so I assumed you had more than that or at least whatever that amount would be after taxes are took out. That’s how I got the rich part by putting 1+1 and getting 2 but maybe 2 is the wrong answer to that classic 1+1 .

How can it be a back pedal? You saying it is such with no proof is just more online silliness trying to “win” a discussion. I understand I said something you don’t like so you have to immediately return the favor but make it realistic.

I never suggested what you said so again you’re not making sense. I said when people get in trouble some people are waiting for this stuff to happen so they can get self righteous. Maybe your old age has you confusing things I posted but that’s what I always said. I never have conflicting views that aren’t spelled out and like I said after you got obtuse I explained what I meant more in depth. If you’re not good at understanding that’s mainly your fault. I’ll take some blame but I tired to explain it more in detail guess that’s not detailed enough for you.

the linebacker the skins signed got a slap on the wrist. They better not give zeke no games for this. But I am sure they will give him atleast 1 game.

don't disagree......but our spine-less swamp-ratt commish will drop the hammer on Zeke....while others don't/won't get the same.
My concern is why Zeke gives them the opportunity.....so I share your concerns.

I'm not looking at what he did to the security guard, I'm looking at how he was invading his girls space and how she clearly wanted to leave and he kept getting in her way.
I can see that but I don’t necessarily look at it that way. I’ve saw guys do that to other guys doesn’t mean they are going around assaulting folks or other bad things. I know people want to shortcut everything but I try not to be that lazy on views esp something simple like this. Can’t say I’ve never been lazy and shortcut something but I think this is a leap even though I can see it.

Zeke gives them the opp because he's not in control of himself yet.
He's just not.
And the human he is is not especially great. He's very ready and willing to "put Baby in a corner".
And that's not cool.

It’s no secret I’ve never liked the guy. Great player on the field, don’t care for him one bit off the field. After the St Patricks Day debacle some of us knew it wasn’t good while most blew it off as no big deal. By itself, it wasn’t that big of a deal but the reason some of us were concerned was because he was under investigation and continuing to show the same pattern of behavior that he’s always been known for and a complete lack of care/respect for the rules. How dumb do you have to be to be under investigation for DV against a woman, possibly facing suspension and then do something like that in public? Some people still don’t understand that.

Then he has the nightclub incident. I really don’t care that he wasn’t arrested and I don’t care that there wasn’t any footage. The league didn’t need either of those to suspend him for the alleged DV incident. For the record, myself and a few others here know people who work at that club and/or closely with the club and he absolutely knocked the DJ out. Just looking at the circumstances about the whole thing, it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out anyways.

Now this. Again, not a big deal if it was a one time thing but while being under a microscope he connects the dots for the league with all the other incidents he’s been caught or accused of doing. Confrontational? Check. Intimidation? Check. Aggressive? Check. The way he blocked that girl? Check. He’s continued to give them ammo to use against him and his lack of awareness after being suspended is truly amazing.

I’m no saint, I did some very similar things when I was slightly younger then him but once I had a job where I was being held accountable for my actions at work and in my personal life I had to make some better choices. Zeke has failed to do that and shows no signs of changing.

I really don’t know what the league will do but if they suspend him, I wouldn’t be surprised and I wouldn’t find it completely unjustified either. Obviously it hasn’t got through that gargantuan head of his that he can’t act like a character in Animal House when he’s in public while playing for the NFL. If he wants to live that lifestyle he can wait until he retires and do whatever he wants within the law, retire now and party as much as he wants, party and keep it private, or stop partying all together.

Dude’s just dumb, plain and simple. You would figure a 6 game suspension would get him to clean up his act but nope. He’s been an entitled brat his entire life and hasn’t changed one bit.

It doesn’t help when every time one of these things comes up Jerry backhandedly challenges the league’s authority by basically saying “nothing to see here”.

At this point I’m not sure if it’s actually Jerry the league wants to make an example of, even more than Zeke. The guy just can’t keep his mouth shut.
