I’m not complaining about it but the NFL I grew up with died about 20 years ago
•1993: Players file class-action suit in name of Eagles star Reggie White, White v. NFL, which prompts the parties to return to the bargaining table. The settlement included the first CBA since the 1982 pact expired in 1987, and an NFL system dictated by a salary cap and liberalized free agency.

I would say 26 years ago was the beginning of the end but otherwise agreed completely.

Our mummified GM has been our GM almost 1/3 of the time the NFL has been in existence.

Nfl is turning 100 and getting worse by the minute

Exactly. These morons have done irreparable damage to the brand. Screw the Core fan let’s see if we can grab a soccer mom or some Pub dwelling Brit.

I want a Super Bowl title to commemorate the 100th season! That would be sweet.

Some things don’t get better with age. This is one of them

Lol
But I loved those jerseys.

Speaking of jerseys, I kind of like our current blue ones. I just watched the 1991 game against the 11-0 Commanders. I didn't get to watch that game live. But yet again I noticed something I wasn't looking for. A reoccurring theme every time I watch a game from the late 80s early 90s. The game was a lot more violent and the hitting much harder. I can't help but notice because it pops out at you. Supposedly players are bigger, stronger, faster today, they just don't play that way anymore.

See the bears will wear there 1936 uniforms against us on 12/5. Take note old jerrah and have us play in the 1971 navy/dark pants, for a home game for the 100 year of the NFL.

No. Please. Haven't we lost enough? You want to bring those cursed jerseys back?
I was a fan in the 60's. The dark jerseys were totally considered bad luck. Some teams like the Commanders and Eagles would choose to wear white at home just to make us wear the unlucky jerseys. I'm thinking that most people that are fans today have no idea of the way things were.
