Wrong. Cowboys won a Super Bowl a year after the salary cap came into effect in 1994 and two years after free agency went into effect in 1993.

FA/Salary cap didn't shred the team in 2 years, it was gradual. Who did Jerry replace the players with we go prior to the salary cap? Can you name them?

Moral of the story, the eagles have been more successful in the past 20 years than the cowboys. Which really isn't saying much since probably 20 teams have been more successful than the cowboys the past 20 years.

It was only after Jerry's FA 'splash' that they were able to win in 95. If you can't beat'em join'em? God knows he couldn't build a team. Besides that Deion signing that team would slowly deteriorate to crap status.
