Actually, it didn't. He was known for not using his burst to get open. He was very easy to cover, and depended on his physical ability to outplay the defender when the ball was in the air.

He was explosive, had an awesome burst.
Past tense.

Dez is one of my all time favorite cowboys.
His passion was unmatched.

His final playoff game for us he had 130+ and 2 scores vs GB one week after Odell completely no showed vs the same defense.

His injuries started to rack up at the end and it was sad to see him go, especially seeing how our red zone offense has fallen off since.

You're confusing "passion" with lack of self control.

He's supposed to look slow right now...not saying he's gonna look much faster either.

Dez was slow before the injury. Like they used AP as an example in the video, Dez will have a couple good games in the year but he's not the Dez of old. I'd definitely agree with low risk, but high reward...NOT

I would bring him in for Vet minimum to play as a #3 /4 guy and would help the red zone offense.

And cut a younger player w/ promise? Great idea.

Who ever it is they can be stashed on practice squad.
If healthy as possible Dez could be a vital #4 that can produce in red zone (areas usually vets excel than developmental rookies)

Doesn't matter I'm right lol
Actually, you're falling for the age old ruse of thinking a player is still what he used to be. Amazing that your Rightness didn't even catch the fact that no one is interested in signing this has been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“What he used to be” lol
We aren’t asking him to be a #1, he still has the capacity to play #4 role at his age. Why was Witten signed, because of situational roles.

I think the youngsters are more useful at this point. I'd rather have a talented youngster at #4. Right now, Cedrick Wilson is our #4. He was great in TC before getting injured last year. You put him on the PS, he's gone. So, you are for bringing in an aging vet and letting go Ced?

It's time to move on. This would be more of a distraction than it's worth. And I was a Dez fan. I wish him well moving forward and hope he catches on with another team at some point. Just not here..

Lol distractions, there is always going to be some kind of distraction made up by media.

You know what covers all that, winning. Dez knows his role why you think he went to Saints for a minimum.

Saints don't have a clueless coach who can't seem to handle guys like this. They didn't exactly leave on great terms and the media circus would be ridiculous. You say 4th receiver like all that is worth 35 catches. He'll go somewhere else and at least be the 2nd or 3rd receiver.
