100% on all the OP points plus I’d add more innovative coaching and better game management by the coaches. Tired of getting into the playoffs and getting beaten by a team we should beat because they just find a weakness and we never figure out how to adjust.
Yeah that rams game was very frustrating ! watching Cj Anderson Look like an all pro was very frustrating

1) Red Zone efficiency
2) Defensive Passer Rating
3) Interior DL pass rush
4) Improved interior OL play + pass protection (and run blocking in red zone)
5) + 15% of total pass plays using play-action
6) Plethora of looks, formations, motion out of S11 packages
8) Force 7 more turnovers, which would make us top 10 (as far as 2018 ranking anyway)

Yeah, I think McVay totally outcoached Garrett. Garrett and all of the pundits were thinking the Rams would come out passing with their high flying offense and that the Rams would give up their usual 5 yards a carry on defense. Yet the Rams plan, even with all of the misdirection was pretty simple--run the ball and stop Zeke, and they managed to do both. You could see a smiling Garrett right after the game excited to shake the hand of a good coach.

I'd love to see an improved connection on deep routes between Gallup and Dak.

More creative play-calling would be nice.

A larger route tree for WR's besides stop routes.

And as someone else said, get rid of Rowdy. My god, he has to be the worst mascot ever. Don't we have guys riding around on horses? Can't one of them be the mascot?

3rd down efficiency on defense and offense killed us last season; specifically defense in the 2 games were we seemed to be physically man handled...Colts and Rams. We beat the Rams if we get off the field defensively on 3rd downs. IMO if we can fix this issue on both sides of the ball we are can go far in the playoffs.
Offensively, 3rd down efficiency improved greatly after the first 7 games.

OFFENSE
3rd down conversion% (pass only)
before Cooper trade: 22.4% (32nd)
after Cooper trade: 39.7% (9th)

I want to see the O-Line return to the dominant force we're all accustomed to................................

1. QB play - holding onto the ball too long, taking untimely sacks, and connecting on the deep ball. Emphasis on connecting on the deep ball. If we can establish ourselves as a vertical threat, it will flip the entire script as it pertains to how defenses play us. Solidifying the O-Line and adding more speed in the skill positions likely help us here.
2. Special teams - I have no clue how Keith O'Quinn kept his position after last season. Easily the worst Special Teams unit we have fielded in years. This includes kickoff coverage, the return game, and Maher. Chris Jones is still a stud though.
3. Pass rush - the boys up front had a great season, but disappeared in the big one. Looks like 3 or 4 of the DL had shoulder surgery this offseason. Excited to see what we can do with a healthy group.
4. Red zone offense - I think Pollard and Witten are really going to help us here. Hopefully the days of us running into defensive tackles at the goal line are over.
5. Turnovers - we need to force the ball out/take the ball away with more regularity. This seems to speak for itself.

If you look at it from the perspective of "what are the statistical parameters that lead to wins", then you have pretty well covered the primary areas for improvement with red zone efficiency and winning the turnover battle.
