I expect us to be much better on offense for many reasons:
Better OL
Better WR corps
Kellen Moore’s different looks
Improved QB play

IMHO, even a SLIGHT improvement in each area will raise our PPG average significantly.
Also should help our TOP...which benefits our defense.

When I see him rifle balls into tight seams over linebackers in front of safeties, then I'll celebrate that he's turned a corner.
You would think by now that even the most hardcore Dak slobberer would be immune to these annual fluff pieces, which happen in all 32 NFL cities.

Remember when Dak was transformed into a six million dollar man of hope right before unleashing the stinkeroo 2017 campaign?

This comes from the Cowboys mailbag Q&A at Dallascowboys.com:

I just wondered if you guys have seen any noticeable improvements in Dak's throwing accuracy this year at OTAs compared to the past? - JOSEPH CRUM / CORINTH, MS

Bryan: I have noticed a transformation of his body and overall mechanics. There were times when he missed, he missed badly. That hasn’t been the case in these OTAs. Ball has been on target and catchable. Credit to the hard work he’s put in on his own and with new quarterbacks coach Jon Kitna. Needs for this to carry over to camp.

Rob: It was only three open practices, but yes, that’s the best stretch of OTAs I’ve seen from Prescott in four years. He’s been accurate at all levels: short, intermediate and deep, like the dime he threw to Reggie Davis last week on a go-route for a touchdown.

Everyone can take this for whatever they feel it's worth, but there is mounting evidence and reports of the quarterback looking better than ever. That should be good news for any Cowboys fans.

that's really good to hear that he is focusing on his fundamentals. I have said it before, if he fixes his footwork, his throwing motion consistency that he can be more accurate. and perhaps trust himself more...

but also lets not go overboard. these are OTAs. no pressure, we can take out time. lets see how he does under pressure. does he revert back to his old ways, or will he stick with his fundamentals.

As many have already pointed out, Dak has not always looked his best in practice. So to hear about improvement in an area he could improve in (practice) is encouraging.

Obviously, things can change in real game-time situations, but historically, that is also where Dak usually elevates his game.

As a Dak supporter, I will still wait to see for myself before going crazy over these reports. But at this time of the year, this is pretty much the best you could wish for.

It's good to hear that he's putting in all this effort and it's paying off. His footwork and overall throwing mechanics needed to improve. So if they have, I'm happy.
exactly, I have argued the same. a lot of his inaccuracy came from his poor foot work....so if he does enough in off season for it to become second nature and not revert back...that's a big plus

Dak could toss 50 TDs and have an MVP caliber season and certain zoners would still be crying for a 'real QB.'

I hope the kid balls out.
no they won't....see this is how the lovers are, you think people who criticize Dak's short comings are haters and want to see him fail...that's your misconception.

we all hope he balls out. we all think he has potential. but we all also see the warts..... nothing wrong with that...

Exactly why I qualified things and let the reader value the news accordingly.

But I don't know when reading good news somehow got twisted into being bad news.

You mean we finally got a coach who is coaching Dak up instead of doing nothing and Dak is looking better? No way.

Fake news. Everyone knows that QB’s don’t improve beyond their 3rd season.

Good to see that aspect being addressed. Now, he needs to work on pocket presence and accuracy under duress.

Yeah, that's why I made sure to add that caveat. People can try to downplay it as much as they need to, but the evidence and positive reports are only growing. I think that better coaching, coupled with the drive, work ethic and yes - talent, that the player already had, will combine for him to have his best year ever.

I think a lot of the anti-Dak crowd are going to be eating a big helping of crow this year.
That's what I'm hoping for, I'll add some garlic if that's okay! Want the best for our team, so we'll hope for the best, also hoping someone is also planning for the worst.

Never had any doubts that Dak would put in the work to be good.
And I don’t think a big pay day will change his work ethic.
