I am hesitant to agree w/OP, but I think do.

You can almost feel the media backtracking from early prognostications for this club: out of playoffs, 8-8/9-7, same old Cowboys rhetoric, etc.

The reason is as zero hour approaches, a deeper look at this Cowboys team shows a dangerous young team that made serious upgrades and owns as DEEP a roster in the NFL in both trenches.

This is a Super Bowl capable team if Prescott can take his game up a click higher, and Moore can call plays to his weapons strengths.

...So do I...I'm just trying to keep a lower profile!...
 Hey mellonball. We got the crops in just thought I'd let you know that. It was a struggle and the corn seedlings are only at the 3 leaf stage and are pail fro lack of sunlight. Also way behind but we're guaranteed a fair return by Pioneer Hybrids so we're covered in case of early frost. That rarely happens around here. close to Lake St Clair which moderated the temp. Take care now

That's A+ for the home team of the north:thumbup:(knee high by 4th of July), is there even a silage/cattle feed market in your A.O. say,if pioneer didn't have the guarantee on this particular hybrid seed ,to where it wouldn't prove a total washout due to the late/non- conducive growing climate?

not to be the negative nancy here but, while I am also positive about this season, I was EXTREMELY positive about my phillies this season after all of their moves....then their LF out for the season, their CF with domestic abuse and likely never to play again, and their bullpen currently has 6 guys on the IL (can't call it "disabled" list any more......ooooooo)....the phillies are snake-bit so far.

....so, if dallas remains healthy, they could be a pretty darned good team and season

Cowboys have 3 things that can derail this season... Injuries, coaching or bad QB play.
Never, ever,,, discount the evil minions of the ROGER GOODELL'S elite units of armed zebra's, wielding the yellow flag awards, bestowed upon those OF their chosen timely descretion, having vast leeway in the enforcement of the Goodell approved desecration of this once meaningful bastion of truest Americana,,, :starspin:

I have decided to not believe in anything until it actually happens so I got that going for me.
Same here but I’ve very optimistic. But then again, I’m always optimistic. I’ve been around long enough to see teams get on a roll that takes them to the SB. It’s more about team chemistry than it is about talent.

This is sometimes true. Winning a championship does take luck as well as talent. Using the Premier League as an example, Leicester City won the Premier League in 2015-6 after nearly getting relegated the previous year. No way we're they as talented as the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal. Yet, they had the best chemistry I've seen that season. Thus, they miraculously won the Premier League.

And just a few days ago the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup after being one of the worst teams early on in the season.

We lose 2 games in regular season and breeze through NFC playoffs to Super Bowl. We beat the Pats 31-13 and Dak is MVP.

I took some heat for rooting for the Blues on this Forum. I am a NY Rangers fan but absolutely hate the Boston Bruins. Watching that game 7 and hearing those sad Boston fans made me so happy.
