Dak is starting year 4 & seems pretty self motivated. I don't think he needs a hard a** screaming at him. He needs somebody he believes will actually improve his game to get his respect.

I don't know - now yes I agree he can't be like a Kris R getting into his secondary' face BUT the last thing a young QB

need to hear is how special he is, its the whole anointing oil thing.

Teams talk up their players all the time. It’s just giving something to the media something to sell to the fans. Fans need to quit taking these things so seriously and reading so much into them..

Besides, Im sure Kitna isn’t treating Dak as if he doesnt need to get better. I have no reason to believe he isn’t pushing Dak to learn and improve and become the best he can.

Honestly, despite Kitna's less-than-impressive career stats, I thought the time that he spent with the Cowboys was likely his best work. If Dak proves himself to be as successful as Kitna was while he was here, I'd be OK with that.

Anyhow, according to what those close to Dak are saying, it sounds as though he's been improving considerably, although, it's early yet. Let's just hope it's true and that the OL might perform like they did two years ago.

Like many of us, I'm surely looking forward to seeing Dak during the preseason games and beyond to verify what we've been hearing and reading lately. Hopefully, it's substantially more than just hype. We'll see. ;)
