No question, he's a man of faith and principals.......this is why I think there's a seat waiting for him in FO.
You do recall that, after Parcells stepped down, Garrett was actually hired as OC before Wade was hired as HC? And that Jerry, immediately after hiring Wade, anointed JG as head-coach-in-waiting?I watched the whole thing and learned a few things about the man. He seems like a genuinely nice person. I can see why the players like him and why they like to throw the ball around with him and treat him like one of the guys. I still have a problem with the way he became head coach of the Cowboys. When the team was getting blown out in Green Bay in 2010 Jason was the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator, I can't help but think he was thrilled that his team was getting blown out. I probably would have felt the same way knowing that I wouldn't be held responsible at all and as a matter of fact get promoted to the best head coaching job in the NFL. As a fan at the time though I was mad about how the season was going and my thought was fire Wade, but fire Jason along with him---not do just the opposite and promote him. I didn't care if he might have been a good coach, I just didn't want him coaching my team---it didn't seem right. His record as head coach has been good, but then again with the talent that this team has had over the years perhaps anther guy would have even a better record and perhaps a Super Bowl or two. Even though I still want Jason gone, I don't blame him at all for taking the job. I would have done the same thing.

That was so weird, but Wade went with it. He probably figured that was his only chance at ever becoming a HC.You do recall that, after Parcells stepped down, Garrett was actually hired as OC before Wade was hired as HC? No matter what happened during WP’s watch, Jerry was always gonna promote Garrett to HC, sooner or later.
He's smart and eloquent, but he's no head coach. He would have never lasted this long as a Texas HS coach.

Wade had been HC twice before (Denver and Buffalo). That was so weird, but Wade went with it. He probably figured that was his only chance at ever becoming a HC.
Sneak peek of Jason during his Princeton years
Really? I thought he was DC in Denver, but didn't know he made HC. Buffalo doesn't cross my mind. I can't remember the last game of theirs I've seen.Wade had been HC twice before (Denver and Buffalo).
Actually he’s exactly what college coaches are now. They’re more about self actualizing and growing the person than just X’s And O’s primarily because when you only have guys focus on football that’s how you get the Irvin’s teammates at the U and that doesn’t fly today. He's smart and eloquent, but he's no head coach.
