Just goes to show you that just having a male as a role model is not the end all be all. You have to have a good role model and above all else, character even in the absence of the role model.

Witten came from a sad upbringing and he wouldn't have passed Saint Tom's standard.

Please. There are many types of family configurations and no one is any more successful than another. A supportive environment is key - you can get that from a single parent, two moms, two dads, a mom and a dad, or any other configuration.

To say otherwise just pushes an agenda.

Silly way to judge players. I know people from two parent homes who are screwed up. I know some great people who were raised by their mother and grandmother including myself. I don’t see the correlation.

As time goes on the legends of Cowboys heroes grows. Landry and Jimmy Johnson get idolized around here in a way that makes me uncomfortable. They accomplished amazing things. They were not flawless.
