Could come down to need overriding reservations.

However, I think the fact that he stayed on the beach so long and this Achilles issue happened, he's a last resort WR. Some team is going to be strapped for a WR and he would have to be considered a possession receiver and a rz threat with the jump ball. Still comes back to that ankle and a questionable ankle for a jump baller is a real concern.[/quote]

Yeah, a team suffering injuries at the position is likely his only shot at getting back into the league.

And I think that maybe the things that he's gone through since being cut from the Cowboys might have gotten his attention. I don't know who has been advising him about his reactions to events but they've been ineffective. That "going to the East" stunt put him in a really bad light with other teams. The Cowboys took him in the 1st, with his poor rep, and then made him one of the highest paid WR's after he held them hostage, he should have kept his mouth shut but he seems to have the Booger Disease as well.

He has never been what I would call "savvy" when it comes to the business of football, but I've never felt that the kid was inherently a 'bad guy' either. Maybe too emotional, maybe a bit immature, maybe a bit naive, but not a 'bad guy'. I think it's a bit of a shame how things ended for him in Dallas, and pretty much for his career.

A couple of ex players who seem disgruntled say so, so you think that's how the entire franchise is run and everyone knows how? There's no way we would have won the 2nd most games in the last three years if that were accurate. Predictable to higher caliber teams is one thing, "everyone in the league" is another.

Go yell at "disgruntled former player" Emmitt Smith for saying the same thing all of us are.

Go yell at all of the people in the media saying the exact same thing:

Prove my point and try to 'shoot those messengers' too.

You once again show that you can't handle anyone criticizing the Cowboys.

Risk vs. reward. Bryant did himself no favors throughout his career.
No, his impulsive behavior is a risk with any team and it would take a HC with a willingness to take on a possible headache. Being the only known player to actually walk off on his team before the gun sounded is unacceptable to a lot of people in coaching.

Some talked of his maturing, that I never saw, but that came undone when he balked at the BAL deal while trying to exact revenge by going to an East team. At the time, I was chuckling to myself because if there are any teams in the know about his route running, it is the 3 East teams. And I don't think they thought he was smart enough to give them any inside scoop on the Cowboys offense.

Lmao, calm down - no one is yelling, this is a silly forum. Now run along.

Defensive players got so deep into his head that he came undone and completely ignored the live plays happening around him.
He relied on athletic ability over being a student of the game.
He brushed off useful, factual information about opposing defenses.
He whined about being open to the degree that he finally got his way and they passed more to him and he turned the ball over.

Now that he's not a spring chicken any longer, I really don't see much demand for all of that extra sauce.
Some players play at older ages, but are willing and able to do the work and are mentally sound to remain competitive. I just don't think Bryant is.

The truth hurt?
Oh man, it is so painful!

You can post all the evidence to support your "shooter" theory. I just don't think it's nearly as bad as you. That's all I have to say about that.

Of course Dez sides with Beas. He's all about making waves in the locker room which is why he's not part of this team right now.

Sounds about right:

Keep on being wrong. It's abundantly clear that you can't handle the truth, or anything critical of the Cowboys.

"Run along".

I couldn't possibly care less at this point what you "think." It's gotten pretty stale. Have fun!

Clearly. That's why you can't stop responding to mine and everyone else's posts. Nothing says "couldn't care less" like that level of dogged determination.

Keep embarrassing yourself with your contradictions.

You don’t understand statistics! Numbers say whatever you want them to say. Believe your eyes, not a crap load of statistics. My eyes tell me Beasley was very good at getting seperation, your statistics tell you Beasley was not good at getting seperation. I’m extremely confident my eyes in this situation are much more accurate than your statistics. I think Buffalo signed him Because they believed their eyes, not your stats.
My eyes say no one is open and the numbers reflect that. Numbers say seperation was better the second half of the season when we got Cooper and Dak was the best QB in the NFC.....by the numbers...record...playoff birth...ect.

I remember watching a couple of films of dez working out with the saints players. he was always a move or two behind the rest. looked totally out of shape. you could tell he hadn't spent his time way from football training seriously. perhaps he could sent out a Terrell owens video showing his washboard abs. or his rolls of flab. no one's going to come looking for dez. he'll need to send out his resume.

Again, you responded to my post, not the other way around. Fact.

And again, I'm not the guy who claimed that he "couldn't care less" proving himself a hypocrite. That would be you.

The guy who "couldn't care less" can't help but to keep responding. But maybe you're not smart enough to realize your own contradiction? Let's go with that.
