Who is your most favorite player in Cowboys history?

I've gotta go with Emmitt Smith. He was the player that made me a Cowboys fan. Loved watching him play.
Cornell Burbage!
That dude with the 'tude, oh yo know what ahm saying!
Boys cut him 3 times, but he came back on like Frankenstein. Cut 6 other times elsewhere.
Burbage is an icon of following one's dreams like @CowboyRoy's dream to be a mannequin model.

Been a fan since 1967.
My three favorites are more emotional than talent driven.

Don Meredith - one tough and talented SOB who got killed regularly, but made his teammates believe. He just kept getting up and making plays.

Calvin Hill - came out of nowhere, not built like a RB, out of YALE at a time when Dallas was years ahead of the NFL in finding players. I loved his running style, all legs and elbows, running hard and fighting for every inch, the first guy routinely hurdling tacklers that I remember.

Chuck Holley - need I say more? One of the best and most underrated LBs ever, another position player way ahead of his time in the way he played the pass and created turnovers.

Romo, hands down. Overall just a really likable guy with an amazing story of overcoming the odds. Just wish he had a ring
