Looking at this off season the OL looks OK but how well it will do seems to depend on the new OC.
The DL looks the most troublesome as surgeries this off season seem to be a problem. Also with some new pieces in place, no idea how this group will perform. The rest of the defensive team seems ok.

From the above discussion It looks like the offense will be carrying the defense this year.

Expecting the defense to take yet another step up this season as they have every season since Rod has been here. Expecting top 5 defense and there is absolutely nothing that has happened this offseason to make me believe that will not be the case. If the offense can be more consistent in situations other than when the game is on the line we are legit contenders.

Seems the above discussion you are referring to is your anxiety over the DL's off season surgeries?

Both trench units (OL/DL) should be among the best position groups in the entire NFL.

IMO- barring additional multiple camp injuries, there really is no excuse for this team not to ascend as a legit SB contender.

Seen an article where DLaw and Byron Jones will start TC on PUP, as well as TFred on the O side.
Need to find the link.

Team site, or Blogging the boys or maybe it was 247sports.
