I liked Trysten's response to the loaded question about his last coach. Stories have been all over the place about how he'd been wronged, but he didn't take the bait. I think it speaks well of him & how his parents raised him.

Zeke is a good guy to look up too. People can be horrible and/or do some bone headed things. And those same people can be nice and do some wonderful things. Its all about choice, decision making and just being responsible. But people are people the world over. To be human is to error.

Zeke is a good guy to look up too. Never thought I'd hear those words being uttered by someone this early after his mistake(s.)

There'll be no shortage of rookies putting their best feet forward in TC this year! Looks like the 2019 player draft might well have been yet another to significantly help this team's cause. If nothing else, the backup help and those winning spots on a rotation would be likely to give 'em a boost. A tough season lies ahead, by the looks of things, so here's hoping they'll live up to their hype going into training camp. Sic 'em, rookies! ;)

I give anything related to Woodson a thumps up.

He was one of the highest character players in Cowboys history. Definitely a great example of being a professional.

That's for sure -- he was, hands down, the best safety this team has ever had. Sigh -- If only we were willing to get another like him!

Who better to host a rookie draft class luncheon than a player drafted from the LB position and converted to S and the extra pressure and work that took?

I think he's one of the, if not the, most underrated Cowboys to don the uniform. It wasn't just him and his play but the effect he had on the secondary and the defense overall. Of all the positions on the team, Woody's is the one they've failed to replace with anyone that could carry his jock and that's been felt ever since he retired. Just ask poor Roy Williams how important Woody was.
