Here’s what Marinelli actually said about that he retirement question:

I am tired of answering it,” Marinelli said...“I have answered it every week since I have been here. You have asked me 5,000 times if I am going to retire or if I feel a little old. I am disappointed in it. What kind of question is that after the game.”

Fans who don’t think Marinelli is a very good DL coach are nuts in my book. I have no idea how misguided opinions like that even get started.

I like the man as far as a person. It’s his scheme I have a problem with. It’s proven it will only take you so far. His propensity to draft light, quick linemen that ultimately do not hold up in the playoffs make him open for criticism.

LOL -- Ron Marinelli definitely has some odd nicknames for his d-linemen.
I've never heard of one being referred to as a "racing lizard" before. :muttley:

Robert Quinn is and has, for five years, been an extremely successful DE.

Love our dline depth. I loved the Quinn move. I hope Gregory can get over this suspension and be back with the team but our depth is pretty good already without him
