Is Zeke a top 3 running back?

Most backs only have so many carries in them
Zeke gets so many I expect by 28-29 he’s gonna be done
In general I'd agree. But I think Elliott is a much more durable RB. Physically. I'm not making any claims, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a long and consistent career.
Elliott isn't "most RBs."

1. You try to disrespect other
2. You get asked a disrespectful question back
3. You play victim and claim it's girly

Very feminine of you to play victim after getting it turned around on you. You have some growing up to do
What are you talking about? Please point out anywhere in this thread where I disrespected anyone called them out of their names or questioned their intelligence.

I’ll wait.....

It proves the point that not all RBs are solely dependant or extremely dependant on everything around them. There are other examples, but that one RB proves your theory inaccurate.
Have you ever heard the exception that proves the rule?

OK .......I'll concede Barley, maybe, but no way in hell I'm putting Bell or Kamara over Zeke.

Ezekiel Elliott is perhaps the best running back in football. This is a common assumption.

Zeke has been in the NFL for three seasons now and has two rushing titles decorating his mantle. He may very well have a third if not for his much-debated suspension in 2017, but still, two out of three is very good. In fact, it’s elite.

To many, Elliott is the gold standard at the running back position. He excels in every way that a running back should, his lone weak spot is contributions via the passing game, and that’s more Scott Linehan’s fault than anything else.

Zeke has won the rushing title 2 out of his 3 years in the league. He’s not top 3. He’s #1.

I've never seen Barkley go backwards sideways like Berry. I've not seen him get negative yards he's always going forward. You have to watch the competition to comment on the competition
You must’ve missed both games vs NY. Barkley is good for 1 or 2 big gains per game. Usually late in the game when his team was far behind and the opposition was set up to defend deep passes in a comeback attempt. His biggest runs usually came against nickel and dime defenses in the 4th quarter. Other than that he’s average. I will admit he’s good catching the ball. But I don’t see him as the every down threat you claim he is.

Who knows
The odds are against him but they were against emmitt too
It takes a long healthy, productive career
Zeke has stayed healthy but the miles are piling up

Zeke is the best back in the game and it isn't close.
Isn’t close? Lol, that’s ludicrous but whatever you think. Personally I think Barkley is better but even if I thought Zeke was 1 and Barkley 2, it’s still close.

If not for a six game suspension this man is the league leading rusher all three years he's in the league most likely....

I feel as if that should answer the question for itself.
How so? He also had arguably the best O line in the league in 2016, and a top 5-10 O line the past two years. He also carried the ball more than any other back last year and his rookie year and led the league in fumbles by an extremely wide margin last year. I believe he had 6 fumbles last year compared to Barkley’s 0 and Gurley’s 1. His ypc last year was also less than Barkley who had a much worse O line.

In other words, I would still put him top 2-3 easily but the rushing record is such a misleading, over valued statistic that people like to throw around to try and prove who’s the best RB when there are so many other factors.

I know this isn't going to surprise anyone but Key completely made this up out of his ***.

Barkley's least productive quarter by far is the 4th quarter.
Least attempts, least yards, least yards per attempt, least explosive plays, I think yall get the point.

So yes Whirl was right, you need to watch your opponent in order to speak on them, not just make stuff up as you go.

Zeke almost single handedly won his team a National Title in college, has been the top rusher 2 out of 3 years. Goodell has been the only one to stop Zeke.

Zekes amazing. He’s a grade A knucklehead but an amazing knucklehead.

great running backs move the chains. zeke's tops in the league at this. it's a great feeling to know that on third and one or two, the odds are in your favor to get the first down and continue the drive.

But is he not the best back in the league from this board not the gnats board?
