Might Dak/WRs/Moore make Zeke expendable?

Yup. I am not for overpaying EZ. I'd offer him a decent contract, and if he wants a maxed out one, I franchise him for a year, maybe two.

Hold it......I'm getting mixed up in my convo's. Were you asking about last season for Gurley? He had 580 receiving yds and 21 TD's. However, the point remains. RB's do not do it by themselves.

The last year Leveon played, he only averaged 4 YPC.

Gurley didn't break out until he had a great Oline, great HC and scheme, and a passing game around him. But boy did he break out.

If you can't see the regression, that's on you. It's hard to help you.

I think Cowboys will and should get these guys signed, releasing them just means you are starting all over and as we know finding a QB is extremely hard to do. Zeke is a young RB who has been pretty much injury free as opposed to Gurley who has dealt with injuries dating back to college and those injuries are still effecting him as he has had issue with the same knee. Cooper showed what an impact he could make as Dallas went 7-1 over the second half of the season. pay them and lets compete for a title or the other option have a great cap and start all over. I'll take the chance that these guys can lead this team to a championship

This is #21's team, you let him go then it's back to those 5-11 seasons all over again.
Our current QB is simply the conductor on Zekes train period. We are a run first team and without a great RB how will that be accomplished?

Heck, the two best RB's in the entire league are right here in the NFCE. Those once in a lifetime type of talented players are not expendable.
