Spoken like a player negotiating a new contract. And he really is a young WR so there is that part of it. Cooper is two years younger than Terrence Newman was when we drafted him.

I agree every player up for a new contract puts stuff like this out there ----- I do believe it in all honesty this is a great place for him as a player !! But there is a secret agenda with this BUT I AINT MADE AT YA AMARI I GET IT :muttley:

He shows up on a 3-5 team and they go 8-2, I'd be pushing that out there as well.

I was all in on trading for him last year because I watched him play at Bama and OAK and think he was better for now and the future than any WR they could have taken in this draft.

But the fact remains, can't pay everybody what they want, especially with a 30M QB and 21M DE. OL's a little pricey too. Not much wiggle room or margin for error.

good post. he's one smooth talking individual. says all the right things. nothing at all like the last dez contract rants.

Why are you assuming what he said was just about his contract? Maybe he genuinely feels that way.

No you weren't being sarcastic you just stated an opinion which sounded like you know the guy so well to state that he just said that because of his contract. I mean, what did you expect him to say?
