No he didn't. He was 285 when he ran a 4.65
Yeah, those hand times from the 1985 Combine were definitely accurate.

Nope. We've never had a slow pass rusher that turned out to be great. I can see if its a 300 pound dt, but 256 pound edge rushers should run faster than that.
Charles Haley ran a 4.8. Sorry, u are incorrect. We've never had a slow pass rusher that turned out to be great. I can see if its a 300 pound dt, but 256 pound edge rushers should run faster than that.
Yeah, judging pass rushers by 40 time is pretty silly.Joey Bosa ran a 4.86. We had this same argument here at the board at the time.
Some people will never learn.
Joe Jackson ran a 4.77, that's pretty good at 275lbs

King-- i never cared for Taco...and he barely got under 4.9 into the 4.8's....i hope we get Gregory back..he was low 4.6We've never had a slow pass rusher that turned out to be great. I can see if its a 300 pound dt, but 256 pound edge rushers should run faster than that.
cowboyec--i agree Taco seems not to have that killer instinct....i am worried about our whole team to be honestI could care less what they do in gym shorts.
Jackson and Jelks seem to find the QB and make plays in the run game.
Taco's problem isn't speed or talent.....it's want to....apparently....he doesn't.
with 2 DEs drafted...and Armstrong last year...he might get his wish when we trim the herd to 53.
