This is a bad precedent... Don't like the idea of a two-city team, what the crap.

Nobody show up to watch them in tampa. And they have a good product. St pete council is holding them to the contract that goes thru 2027. They should let them go. Stadium is horrible. It is like a mausoleum to watch games there. You can sit behind home plate and talk to your friend in center field. St pete should put them out of their misery

Let them go to Montreal, Tampa doesn’t deserve a team.

IMO the location of the stadium doesn't help, especially when dealing with rush hour traffic.
Also, had the stadium been in Ybur would of been better. Hillsborough County and Pasco County has seen huge growth in population since the late 90's. Unlike Pinellas County.

In this day and age of cheap HD TV's, where's the benefit in being stuck in traffic jams?

I get it, they have a really good team most years but average half of the average league wide attendance.

It's location is just as bad as the Florida Panthers arena out near the Everglades.
Poor arena planning can doom teams that don't have that rich history/tradition/super huge fan bases.

Seems like an idea that will either be a huge success, or a giant fail.

I see why they want to move. I just recently moved to the Orlando area and took the trip to a Rays game and it was terrible!!!

I’ve lived in Boston, New York and Baltimore and would rather get into the games there!

Agreed. As a Yankees fan, I wonder why they don't just build a stadium near where the Buccaneers play.
