Zeke is better and you know it
Pointless, going to ignore. I don’t care about disagreeing with someone, in matter of fact I think it can be good for many reasons but you bring nothing to the table. Zero...just like the amount of times Barkley fumbled the ball.

See ya homie.

I know that but that is what was said when comparing the 2.
Of course because it’s pretty relevant. I’m quite sure Barkley would have had more success running behind our O line last year and Zeke would have had less success running behind the Gnats O line. It’s not either one of their faults but to deny the difference in O lines and act like it’s irrelevant with regards to their overall statistics is ridiculous. Not pointing the finger at you here.

Not only was Barry's line significantly worse, but the QB and WR difference was even larger than the Oline

No problem, but I guess in the lions and gnats cases all you can say is draft better on the OL.

For sure, the Gnats O line will be better this year but they’re still a dumpster fire, it would be hard to make them worse. They had Erek Flowers starting for 3+ years for christs sake. TBH, I don’t know too much about the Lions because they’re not in our division.

They traded for Kevin Zeitler from CLEV, should be a huge upgrade there, and Hernandez is in his 2nd year n he should be better.

I’m not calling you a liar but someone is wrong about the fumbles. Regardless, Zeke still lead the league in fumbles by a wide margin.

I also think part of the problem is how a lot of people use the 2016 O line as the bar when comparing every other year. 2016 they were arguably the best but that doesn’t mean they weren’t good in 2017 and 2018. They were still top 10 both years compared to the Giants who were close to bottom 10. So as far as my point goes, it doesn’t matter if they weren’t the best, they were literally twice as good as what Barkley was running behind.

Liar?

It clearly states Elliott had 6 fumbles but only lost ONE.

I agree but that is what all of the ES haters said, along with the "what could Sanders do behide the boys line".

But people who really know football should understand.......or at least I hope they do, is that no matter how good your offensive line is you can't just put any RB behind them and expect the running game to function the same way.

I'm curious

Say any random runningback has 40 more rush attempt than any other runningback in the league

Would you expect them to
A) Lead the league in rushing
B) Not lead the league in rushing
Depending on who it is B. If I am being honest.

If you're being honest..... then that's kinda sad for you.
Why? It could be a runner similar to Eddie George and I am sure when he lead the league in carries he didn't lead the NFL in rushing yards.

It's all depends on who ends up being the"randomly selected" back. The sample size is way to broad and I would reject the hypothesis unless it was narrowed down.

The leader in rush attempts has been top 2 in rushing yards in 8 of the last 9 years.

Regarding rushing or passing for that matter, I wouldn't use 20 year old examples. Although George was still top 3 in rushing yards, just 12 yards short of 2nd.

Yeah, you said Barkley had 2 fumbles, I provided a link showing he had zero and you provided a link that didn’t even have his name on the list.

Good for Zeke, that’s still 6 fumbles, I never brought up how many he lost and it’s not an admirable statistic whether he lost them or not.

OK .......I'll concede Barley, maybe, but no way in hell I'm putting Bell or Kamara over Zeke.

The Cowboys getting disrespected.

Ezekiel Elliott is perhaps the best running back in football. This is a common assumption.

Zeke has been in the NFL for three seasons now and has two rushing titles decorating his mantle. He may very well have a third if not for his much-debated suspension in 2017, but still, two out of three is very good. In fact, it’s elite.

To many, Elliott is the gold standard at the running back position. He excels in every way that a running back should, his lone weak spot is contributions via the passing game, and that’s more Scott Linehan’s fault than anything else.

This wouldn’t even be a question if he wasn’t a Cowboy. I mean all he has done is lead the league in rushing for two of the last three seasons. And has the best hands (by far) of any RB in the NFL. And Karnataka is a few back breaking hits from LB’s before his whole style changes. No way I would take anyone over Zeke if I had the choice. And he is a team guy. How do you put value on that?
