Demonstrates extremely poor judgment when intoxicated. Already killed a friend while intoxicated. Should have stopped drinking then.

when I get drunk I like to hug the ladies:thumbup: I don't understand wanting to fight cops and get tased. He is a big guy. I am surprised the taser works so well.

When did resisting arrest come into fashion?
There is only a very fine line between being tazed and being shot. The millennials will have to learn the hard way.

I know Jerry goes above and beyond for his players but there has to be a line somewhere.

Nothing self righteous about staring the obvious. It’s sad and he clearly needs help.... and he’s an idiot.
And this is coming from an idiot

I can vouch for @Proof being an idiot.
But every minute Brent is on the payroll, Jerry becomes more of an idiot

Look.
Revoke this idiot's probation.
Stick him in prison for 5 years with no alcohol.
Problem solved.

Here we go with our self righteous self called perfect fans showing how low they too can be by calling him an idiot.
What he needs is help with his alcohol problem.

So ... We are not allowed to say, "SHAME!"
We are not on the Cowboys payroll. We are not killing people in DUIs and not running from police outside, shirtless, at a Wendy's. Did kids see this? Did his ghetto lifestyle intrude on young lives?
Nice going, Jerry.

All of the Alcohol related violence and out of control behavior because someone drank too much. How many more incedents before the League lifts the ban on harmless weed so the players have a non violent and non addictive or performing enhancing alternative to booze and pills

All the do gooders and the commish can push the legal and rule abiding alcohol and pills and make it a morality issue because its illegal but its still all the Alcoholics and pill poppers who are committing all the immoral acts. The addiction to Alcohol and pills is a real problem. This is a violent contact sport not a regular job where you get to call in sick. Its hard coping w pain. Weed is simply a less harmful, non violent, non addictive, alternative for those who cannot handle the BOOZE AND PILLS

Yessir -- if he's allowed to continue being a blight on the integrity of the team and those around him, it'd be a shame.

If he won't learn a lesson, once and for all, by being responsible for the death of a teammate, it's evidently hopeless.

A paycheck is not enabling. Buying him the booze would be enabling.
Brent never had to face the brutal reality of true consequences, which is apparently what he (and most with his kind of problem) needed to do.

Any normal person who did what he did would have hit rock bottom a long time ago. He had a DUI. Then he was responsible for the death of a teammate because he was drunk. Failed a league drug test. Then he failed to follow proper monitoring before trial. Then he got a ridiculously light sentence for vehicular manslaughter.

Instead, Jones instead stuck with him, giving him first a warehouse job while he was suspended by the league and then as time went along even a position in the scouting department, which I am sure he was not exactly the most qualified to do. He should have been left to honestly deal with his issues instead of coddled.

Jones enabled him all along. It is nice I guess that Jones has these charity cases, but rarely does his faith and kindness get rewarded.

Well, I am supposing Brent can smoke all the weed he wants since he is no longer taking league drug tests. I guess he prefers alcohol?

blah, blah, he is an idiot. No excuses, let's feel sorry for the idiot. How many changes do you need? Nobody is pouring alcohol down his throat!

At least maybe he wouldnt do out of control stuff that causes others harm. Thats my point. 70% of the NFL players cannot handle the addictive booze and pills so they better stick w the Gonja before the assaults lead to deaths. Playing a violent contact sport with pain and pressure to keep playing puts these athletes at a higher risk to abuse something to cope. Js
